I have been a PC gamer since 1988 and have been building my own PC's for almost 30 years. Recent games I've been playing are Days Gone, Dead Space, Red Dead Redemption II, Cyberpunk 2077, Doom Eternal, Sniper Elite 5, Hitman 3 & Control: Ultimate Edition.$5,370.28 -

Built this puppy through parts from my local Micro Center in conjunction with r/hardwareswap. I’ve always wanted to do a custom watercooling build and saw that O11 Kit from Bitspower via Micro Center as a great starting point. I mainly use the rig for gaming valorant (top 500 NA woop) and then also some apex on the side. Definitely way overkill for these lighter FPS titles, but I knew I wanted to go all out team red nonetheless.$3,888.90 -

The main goal of this build was to get a high-performance gaming experience while still being extremely capable of running intense productivity workloads. Since my last build was also extremely loud with 12+ fans in the Antec LanBoy Air case, I set out to build something that would be significantly quieter while gaming and succeeded. This system is also intended to be ultra reliable, requiring only periodic dusting for maintenance, and highly upgradeable over the next few years as needed. This build ended up going a completely different direction from the i9-13900K and Z790 Maximus Hero that I originally purchased, but I have to say that I've been extremely happy with it even though I've always been an Intel fan.$3,607.89 -

I have been a console gamer for my whole life because I only had a junk laptop and can't run anything on it. A lot of my friends built their own gaming PC, and I had chance to play on it. It was a whole another experience playing the same game on PC! The graphic and the smoothness in unparalleled! So I decided to build one myself. Because this PC is for gaming, I decided to go with high end GPU and my friend recommended it. I picked up a 7900xtx. I handles all the game I tried in 4k very well! Overall, I am very happy with my first build.$3,299.94 -

Gpu shortage gaming pc, mainly built for competitive games like apex or warzone but also for turn based strategy games. And I didn’t want to deal with water so I decided to go full air cooling. It was originally mid to high end pc. Planning to use a 3070 ti or 3080 with a 12th gen i5. However due to the chip shortage I was only able to get a 6900xt, and so I switched to a 1000W power supply and Then the i5 felt inadequate so switched to an i7 (i9 runs too hot and it’s just smidge faster for gaming and I don’t do a lot of multithreaded workload). Added 4tb of m.2 pcie4 storage (2tb sabrent rocket and 2tb samsung 980pro) After the upgrade I had a high end pc so I got a Samsung odyssey g7 240Hz 1440p.$3,276.92 -

I originally built this PC when I was in college for online homework and some light gaming. It started as an i7-6700k, GTX1070, and 16GB of RAM. I wanted to build an all white PC for myself from so long. I am a huge fan of small form factor. I wanted the PC to occupy less space but don't want to compromise on cooling. This SFX case from Jonsbo made it possible. It is not a very popular case and I wanted it for that reason. Ordered in from Aliexpress and waited for decent time. Apart from the case all other parts are best in the class. 5800X3d launched at the right time. Added white case mod cables and white fans from Arcitic. Added an after market plate for the Noctua cooler. Actually I went with the cooler as there are after market parts available for this one. Very happy with it and should serve my streaming and design work for quite some time.$2,643.95 -

Coming from an i5 2500k and GTX 970, this PC is meant to run all the latest games that were previously not possible on a 4k LG OLED or high refresh rate 1440p monitor. The 7900 XTX felt like the best price/performance option for this compared to the others in the 800$ and up category. The CPU/MB/RAM bundle Micro Center offered made more sense than waiting for the Ryzen X3D processors.$2,172.15 -

Saw the Fractal Torrent and knew I had to build something with it. I think it came out very nice! I definitely need to get some white PSU cables to match the aesthetic overall. In hindsight, I should have maybe went for the standard Noctua heatsink, as the chrome fins would have matched the chrome from the PowerColor 7900XTX. Still very pleased!$2,029.93
