My New Multimedia Editing... My New Multimedia Editing Workstation/Gaming Beast

Plus, it also works pretty great as a gaming PC. I want this workstation to perform the best and reduce the rendering time while processing my animation project, so I went ahead and picked up a 4090 for this setup because it's pretty much the best out there. After testing it out on a project I was currently working on, I am very happy I made this decision. The rendering time was almost cut in half compared to my old workstation with a 2080ti.$4,719.92 -

I've been using cheap pre-builts since my last build and finally decided to treat myself again. I wanted to be able to dabble in 3D rendering and get back into gaming. This build should do the trick. The build went fairly smoothly. I only had to uninstall and redo the AIO once, since I wasn't able to get it to reach the CPU the first way I had it installed. It's possible I just had it wrong, but by that point I just wanted it done. :) As for the parts, the power supply may be a bit overkill. I wasn't sure which one to pick so while discussing it with the sales person they suggested this one. Since it will most likely outlast the other parts and wasn't that much more than one of the other options I had selected before heading to the store, I went with the suggested power supply. So far I'm happy with it. My simple "beginner" renders that took an hour or more on my last PC now take a minute or two... and games run smoothly. Temps stay cool, and it's not too loud under normal use. The GPU fans do make some noise under load, but not too bad. I haven't changed anything from the stock settings so far.$2,439.94 -

Ever since I was a kid around 11 years old I wanted to build my own pc. Since then I have gained enough financial stability to make my own dream come true! I had a blast putting it together and I learned a lot about the components while I was doing my research. Thank you to Micro center for giving me the ability to get all the parts I needed for my build and also helping me select compatible components.$2,344.34 -

This time around I decided to go AMD instead of my usual Intel/Nvidia build. The pc is used to play @1440p 165hz and I’d say paired up with a Sapphire Nitro+ 7900xtx, it can easily achieve that.$2,279.92 -

I built this computer because I want to play modern games at 4k@120Hz and I also need to run code/simulation for my research and my laptop simply is not fast enough. I built this computer with upgradability in mind, so when choosing parts, I made sure that they will be compatible for the years to come, and that's why I choose the new AM5 platform (supported till at least 2025 according to AMD) with DDR5 and PCIE gen5 support. Cost is another great factor. I am still a student and have limited budget, so I choose Microcenter for the most expensive parts because it offers very generous discount (especially for Ryzen 7000 series!!!) Now my computer is without graphics card, but I am planning to pick up a Radeon 7900xtx soon at Microcenter tomorrow!$2,273.95 -

This bill is essentially me future proofing my system with one of the most powerful chip set on the market as well as GPU. Hopefully this build will last me a while I don’t see myself upgrading unless it’s to an AM five motherboard. If that is the case I will upgrade to a 7800 X 3-D and move my 5800 X 3-D into my mini system.$2,224.91 -

Third computer I've designed chronologically, a straightforward yet powerful gaming setup for an entirely different friend in a Meshify C. Built in a period when it was possible to purchase graphics cards but not motherboards or power supplies. Fortunately, I was able to get a 650w gold unit with an excellent reputation for a reasonable price. The price list is unquestionably inaccurate. Just got him a 1440p monitor, most of the games he plays aren't very taxing, so the 3090 super hangs in there really well, and even the most taxing games it can still hold its own over 100+ fps with some adjusted settings.$2,097.92 -
