I built this computer to mainly have a home PC, but also wanted something to replace my Xbox. My wife uses it for photo editing, crafting and everyday use. I use it for general use and for gaming with Xbox friends. I do want to start streaming a bit on my Nintendo switch which is why I got a capture card as well. I do plan to hopefully upgrade my graphics card to where my PC can handle 4K gaming at high FPS.$3,363.87 -

I got into PC gaming right as PUBG launched in alpha and I wanted to learn more on getting a better system. I stumbled across Kyle & Jay and instantly got hooked! After graduating in 2020 and getting a job I got to finally save up towards my first build. I am proud to say that in January of this year I finally built my first pc! Version 1.0 had all the same specs except for GPU & Case. I originally had a EVGA 1070ti and a NZXT H510 but later upgraded to a Asus Rog Strix 3070 and H710 case, so this is version 2.0 that I am providing pictures. I am so happy with this setup and I cannot wait to build my next one, thanks Kyle for the inspiration!$3,349.39 -

RGB set to light with some blue accent colors as the character's color pallet isn't just pure white. After I've thought of the idea, I checked out and see if anyone has done it. Lo and behold, two setups I've seen were pretty much insane and that downed my spirit to make this build for awhile, but got back up to make it real regardless. It first started as a budget build, but dumped that plan out and said if this is going to be my first RGB build, may as well go all in. Other than waiting for the custom backplate and GPU bracket support, the build is pretty much complete.$3,319.90 -

I built this computer to game, do schoolwork, finish work, and it also functions as a mining machine. These days, I primarily play Valorant, Halo, and Forza. Future upgrades would probably to upgrade the GPU to a 3090 and get rid of the two of the GPUs. Ideally, I would've liked a white GPU and white CPU cooler, but it didn't fit the budget, so these will do for now. I have been using this computer for the past few months this year. I have switched from many GPUs and I gotta say the Strix is my favorite. Its quite, and doesn't get too hot. This applies to the EVGA as well. I also plan to upgrade my cables, as they are the default EVGA cables. I may also have to upgrade my RAM as its making my computer slower.$3,231.91 -

An upgrade from my 2010 build, this computer is primarily meant to last another 10 years with Photoshop, web browsing, video-watching, and the occasional video game playing on it. I wanted a solid foundation with the latest Intel processor, DDR5 RAM, SSDs for system and primary storage, and 8TB HDDs in RAID 1 for backup of years of art files and the likes. The GPU is fairly underwhelming, all things considered with this build, but GPU isn't my primary concern and it's also about the easiest thing to swap out when I need to upgrade it. Since I'm not doing water-cooling, I went with a well-ventilated case a Noctua CPU air cooler, and added Noctua's budget fans to the front (using the case's included two fans for a rear and top ventilation.) I also am going with a stealth build... everything is all-black (except the Noctua budget fans... which I may swap or paint later), and I've turned off all lighting (except for the power light.) I do have a slight buzzing from the glass panel of the case that I need to remedy at some point though. I also mis-read the mouse packaging and thought it was a wireless-charging mouse. Instead, it's a standard AA battery. The Keyboard is nice, except that the D key illumination LED is already miscolored days after initial use, and it doesn't keep its key-lighting setting after power-cycles (FN+F12)$3,205.68 -

When flying back to Massachusetts, I didn't have a PC to game on, and I just felt with the new generation of parts, it was time to build a new one. So, I took the leap and decided to start compiling a new, upgraded rig for when I would fly home! The main components are an i7-10700k and a MSi Gaming X Trio 3070 at the heart of the project. I was lucky enough to get a 3070 through notification at around 3 in the morning. Thus, my 2020 "away" build was born and has been a delight to game on since!$3,201.94 -

I am a web developer and I needed a new PC because the older one is slow and kept crashing. It took me sometime to get the parts but at the end it it was a nice to have everything together to start the build. I was anxious. Also the problem with the graphic cards didn't help because everyone wanted one and the bots were really annoying. This was my first actual build and I am really proud of it. Everything works really smoothly and I know it will last a lifetime. My next upgrade for this build will be storage.$3,136.86 -
