I built it this year because I got lucky securing a GPU during the GPU crisis. I mainly use it to play video games and for light video editing. My main games at the moment are Valorant, Apex Legends, and Genshin Impact. I think I should have went AMD (5600x) over the i5-11400, but the integrated graphics came in handy a few times during the build process.$1,611.91 -

He only plays war thunder, APEX, and other non-graphical intense games, so 3060ti is good enough. He was very happy to have his very first own gaming PC. The only thing I would upgrade to this build is to add another monitor, or get a bigger monitor.$1,598.93 -

It is an excellent form of escapism from my everyday life. One mistake I did was paying attention to the LGA1200 screws for my heat sink, as when the time came to attach the fan, I had already secured everything down. Also, my cable management was pretty lackluster but I think it is functional.$1,278.83 -

I think it turned out very well, and with a few tweaks to the GPU settings, I can hit over 100 fps on all current games (Minecraft, Fortnite, Battlefield, etc.) at 1080p medium graphics settings. I like to run a few cad sims and code just for fun. I don't really do any computationally demanding tasks, so the parts I have are significant for my current needs. I plan on upgrading sometime in the near future (around Q3 2023) to something like a 3070 ti/ 4070 or a 6800 xt so I can run games at 1440p.$939.91 -

I built it pretty recently, with most parts being new, and a couple like the GPU being bought used. I made sure to get a Radeon card so that the drivers would play nice with Linux Mint, my preferred OS. I've been playing a quite a few games on it, like CS GO, Doom Eternal, Dying Light, Dota 2, and The Witcher 3. They all run pretty well, so I'm happy with the build. Of course, regular tasks like web browsing also work flawlessly. In hindsight, the one thing I would change is to get the F variant of my Core i5, because I have a dedicated card anyway, making the CPU's integrated GPU pretty much pointless.$887.51 -

I built this pc in the middle of covid during the graphics card shortage. I bought everything besides the gpu first and ran on integrated graphics because it was good enough for games like valorant and csgo. A few months later I bought a graphics card. This budget build is mainly used for playing games like Valorant, Csgo, Apex Legends, and a little bit of forza.$867.93 -

This machine was intended entirely for basic home office tasks, web browsing, or doing light work with Visual Studio. It isn't glamorous, but it works. This was meant to adhere to a budget, and is the main reason it wasn't built as an ITX. At the last minute, it was decided to add in an extra DVD writer that had been in an old build. Otherwise it would have gotten away with 0 SATA cables. And last but not least, the 12400 hadn't released when this machine was built. Ah well. With so few drives and accessories, and also considering this case isn't ideal for cable management, a modular PSU might have been nice. But this one was reused so the price was unbeatable.$489.95
