I wanted to design and build a full open case with thick double 1/2 acrylic sheets having the ability to access all the components easily. Also have all the radiator RGB lighting show through the acrylic while protecting the fans and moving parts. Polished hex bolts secure the frame. The Corsair SF750 mini PSU was perfect for this build a I needed a super small PSU to both accomodate the GPU requirements as well as hide in the back with the wiring minimal. The GPU is supported on the bottom with a custom 3D printed frame that acts as both a case stand where the acrylic locks in as well as the horizontal mount for the GPU and eliminates all GPU sag.$1,181.91 -

I'm an Instructional Technology Specialist who uses multiple video and graphics programs simultaneously. When we moved home to work, my old laptop could just not keep up with my normal workload. My focus was having enough RAM to be quick and efficient. I LOVE this rainbow rave party machine! It's so fast.$1,414.91 -

My first build was i7-6700 (Gigabit Motherboard - don't remember which one) with 250GB SSD and 1TB Hard Drive (7200 RPM). Video Card was an ASUS Nvidia GT745 in a Corsair Medium Tower. Unfortunately, my 1TB hard drive was down to 30 GB when I got back from a trip to Germany and Windows 7 support was done. I bought a 4TB Hard drive and 500 GB SSD and was going to replace the drives in the Intel build when I decided to build a new computer instead to avoid losing the other data. Went to Microcenter in Fairfax VA, and he suggested a AMD Ryzen 7 instead of Intel i7. Price point - very good. Then he sold me the case- Lian Li LiCool II. REALLY good move I later learned. Brought home the gear and put it aside until I had time to build it. Well...COVID closed everything down and I decided to build it to get my mind being stuck in my house. Loved it. It was a great little build, and I was able to upload my photos and purge my old drives. I also updated the First build with the same 500GB SSD and 4TB Hard Drive so I got the old computer working well in Windows 10. My only "complaint": my ASUS Nvidia GT1030 was just underpowered. I was only able to use two monitors and I wanted a three-monitor option. I was not in a hurry to buy a new one, but I was looking for video cards that could handle three or four monitors. A few months later, I watched a video from JayzTwoCents ("Is NVIDIA even trying anymore" - April 25, 2019) when he was reviewing the GT1650. For some reason hecompared it to an PowerColor AMD RX570 Radeon Red Devil 4GDDR. Reason: it was CHEAPER than the GT1650. When I saw the RX570 price ($139.99 vs $80 for the GT1030), my jaw dropped to the ground. When I checked Microcenter, they had that very card on sale for $139.99. Bought it online on the spot and picked it up that day. I replaced the GT1030 and LOVE the new card. I don't even play games!
