Built this PC because I was guilted by my friends to play Hell Divers II. My wife also needed a PC to do our taxes on every year. The goal was mild future proofing (the GPU is my Bottleneck) and escalated quite a bit from the original build scope thanks to the Ryzen 7 7700x bundle. I am able to play games at 1440 on high settings and 1080 ultra settings at a minimum of 65-80 fps. The original purpose was just to have a racing sim rig. This is the first pc I have even worked on, I assembled/built myself in an afternoon.$1,124.94 -

I like the Fractal North case because you can just look at it and be pleased after a very expensive purchase decision. I wanted the inside to be blacked out since you can't really see the inside of your case all the time, and the only RGB I really want is the Geforce RTX logo from my graphics card. Decided to be conservative on the specs I go with, albeit the 7800 X3D bundle is too good to pass up. I wanted to save the rest of the money for a very nice (and expensive) QD-OLED monitor, preferably, something like the MSI MPG 321URX, which is sadly still not in stock. Other than that, Noctua fans keep my PC quiet without any annoying frequencies, which is useful since I use open-back headphones. 4 TB main drive should last for a while, and cover all my storage needs.$1,807.35 -

Built this AMD 8700G PC for coding and running programs that I need for my mad science lab, but looks like it will be my wife's PC instead. She will use it for general PC activities including some casual 1080p gaming (Secret World Legends, Entropia, and others that I don't know the names of). A few years from now, if her old Nvidia/Intel based gaming PC breaks down then I may overclock this one and/or add a video card, or maybe even drop in a new CPU. Am using the heat sink that came with the 8700G CPU, and during a bit of gaming the temp never got above 32 degrees C so I won't be upgrading to water cooling. It has very low power use and it is whisper quiet.$1,335.90 -

After discovering the HYTE Y70 Touch case just a day or two after the company announced that they had exhausted the global supply of the integrated 4K touch displays, I was both in love and heartbroken. I loved the case design and the novelty of the built-in touch display, but now they were sold out everywhere and being sold for exorbitant amounts on the second-hand markets. I had signed up for a few waiting lists for on sites like B&H in hopes that one might appear in stock somewhere. My friend and coworker heard me talk about this case for days and weeks as I spent all of my free time trying to find one for near retail price to no avail. Then one day, while that coworker is on vacation, I get a text from him saying he had received an email from B&H offering him a 30-minute window to purchase one from some stock they had held back. He knew how much I wanted one, and put himself on the waitlist! Now that he had secured one for me, I had to build a machine worthy of such a hunt!$3,274.81 -

I do many things with a pc(Play Games, Run LLMs, Write Code, ETC,)and I got sick of my old laptop(i5-10300H, GTX 1650 TI mobile, 8gb DDR4 2933mhz.) So I decided to build a brand new powerhouse, in which I am writing this right now. Now that I have built my own rig at this point, time to give you some advice. First and foremost, if you want the absolute best PTP(Price To Performance)PLEASE do not give in to any of those prebuilt pcs, they are built and sold for a profit(which I, in all means respect.)Like I got a 4070 TI Super and Ryzen 9 7950x3d, With the amount that I spent I could only get an i9-13900kf and 4070 TI from NZXT and from Build Redux I could only get a 4070 TI Super and 7950x with only 16gb ram(in NZXT and custom I got 32gb). And for my 2nd piece of advice, enjoy the build expierience you know, have fun.$2,572.91 -

My last build was right after my daughter was born back in '09 with a Q8200 Core 2 Quad and molex fans. Kids are expensive and so are pc parts. Built around the Microcenter 7800x3D bundle with the Gigabyte B650 Gaming X MB and G.Skill Flare X5 RAM. I wanted to go with something similar to the Lian Li case but found a much cheaper case from a brand I’ve never heard of but achieves the same look. Really just wanted to get something with glass panels to show off all the Arctic RGB matching fans. Also found a cheap CPU cooler that was a dual tower design to keep the 7800x3D cooled.$1,674.95 -

This is a high end 4090 gaming build that is technically a "Budget 4090 Build" where I use some open box items and used components to save money. I am upgrading from a PC that is 9 years old and wanted to build a new one that will last me another 9 years. This is a gaming rig that can handle almost anything even though I mostly use it for productivity. Still in the process, but I will get back into streaming content online soon playing random games and drawing while hoping to do some game production. My goal is to fully utilize this PC with my 4K monitors. Besides that, it looks cool to look at! What a wonderful journey and it all started from buying the Microcenter Bundle!$4,090.69 -

I wanted to use minimal RGB, so the parts wouldn’t be extremely saturated with RGB, and so I could play more comfortably at night. I chose these parts with a $1300 budget in mind. There were definitely things I believe I could’ve done to improve the build, such as a PSU without daisy-chained PCIE connectors, but it’s the price you pay for a quality unit, I suppose.$1,213.11 -

Finally decided to part ways with my old and ugly pc and upgrade after 8 long years. Had to wait forever for my 3080 Ti to arrive but it was worth the wait. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out, maybe I could have done a better job with the cables but.... The only major issue is that one of my 144hz monitors doesn't have any of the ports with which I could get 144hz due to the 3080 Ti only having HDMI and DP, so I'm stuck with 60hz on that for now until I find a new one (I think)... Buuut I was surprised I didn't run into any other issues besides losing one or two screws... :p$1,866.93 -

I built this computer because for 3 years, I have been limited to playing games such as Fortnite and Minecraft on my old pc, which had an AMD Ryzen 3, Integrated graphics, and I would always have to turn down my game settings to the very lowest possible just to squeeze out 30fps. It was difficult doing even schoolwork on this computer, and one day after having to pay $300 dollars just to get an issue fixed, I decided that I was going to start saving up for a computer which would be much better than the one I currently had. I saved up all the money I could, and after almost a year of waiting I finally built it. With this new setup, I plan to play games I could have never played before, such as Rainbow Six Seige, Starfield, and more which I will discover. If I could go back, I would switch to an NZXT H6 Flow as opposed the H9, due to its similar look and the RGB version being cheaper than the H9 and coming with RGB fans. I would also switch the motherboard, since this current one only has one ARGB header, making me have to daisy chain 11 argb devices into one header. In future upgrades I plan to add some Lian-Li strimers, as they will look much better than the stock cables I have right now.$1,427.88 -

This is my first PC build in 10 years and first SFF PC. Its a powerhouse and the best PC I've built to date. I play CS2, Diablo 4, Lost Ark, Black Desert and mostly anticipating and excited for Black Myth Wukong. I plan on upgrading to 7900 XT in the near future so then I won't have to upgrade for years to come. This build was super easy for an SFF ITX build because it came with PSU and custom AIO bundle so I didn't have to think about which of those two parts to buy. Even though it was fairy easy it did take me quite some time to finish the build because I wanted to make sure everything was right. I've had to take the PC apart many times and initially I thought it was going to be a pain because of the size but its actually super easy to service as all the panels come off. I've actually changed parts a few times and added custom cables so I had to make many micro adjustments so it gets easier and faster each time. One small "mod" I did to fit the bottom thick 28mm 120mm fans on the bottom was I had to elevate the GPU and to do that I added 4 6-32 nuts and 3/4" screw. It adds about 10mm in height giving it just enough clearance to fit the fans. I hope everyone enjoys this build as much as I did!$1,658.37
