This setup is ment to create fast boot and load times, currently taking 5-7 seconds to boot into the windows desktop from off state. i9 14 gen to stay last for a long period of time before needing to upgrade. This includes the cpu liquid cooler. DDR5 RAM 5600Mhz for the newest generation that will last a long period of time, and my last past the next cpu upgrade. RTX 4070 Super to handle the majority of games at max settings at 1440p resolution. Currently no stutter or lag experience. GPU using the new power pin connection with the power supply. Future plan consists of 1-2 year from now, which includes doubling up on same RAM capacity and moving from rtx 4070 Super to 5070 Super. The aim of this build is to be able to play any game in the highest graphic setting in 1080p. This is the build I came up with that does exactly that. The RTX 4060 GPU is great for this build. It's inexpensive but perfect for 1080p gaming.$1,369.93 -

My highschool had a two week course where we could learn and build our own computers, we had a budget of 500$ and the choice to add extra from our own money. This is my first build and I am very happy with how it turned out. Using our budgets, I bought the 400$ bundle at Micro Center that contained, Intel Core i9 12900K, ASUS Prime Z790-V WIFI motherboard, and the G.skill Ripjaw 32 Gb 2 x 16 ram. Additionally, I got a PowerSpec PS 650GSM 650 W power supply, a DeepCool AG400, and a Seagate Laptop Thin 500 GB 7200RPM SATA 6 GB/s 32 MB Cache 2.5 Inch Hard Disk Drive. Using my own money, I bought a Inland X1 black case, two Inland TN320 NVMe M.2 storage SSD's, and a Nvidia RTX 3050. I am very thankful I took this course and I am very content with how my PC turned out, it runs most games I play at high to max graphics (I mostly play RTS such as Men of War or Total War games). The total cost of this build was roughly 800$ USD with me paying around 270$ from my own pocket.$1,122.93 -

I don't do much gaming anymore, but my old build was 2015, and I literally could not play some of the more recent games even if I wanted to. The old build was still fine for most day-to-day stuff and I wanted another build that would go the distance. So here we are. My first build was 1998, and PC components have come a long way. I wanted something that could run Cyberpunk at 2k on max settings and still get over 60 FPS. I wanted something that I could hook up a top tier VR headset to without worries. The Lian Li components are super good, but they don't have great software support. Mostly, I would say that they are first rate components with second rate software running them. It often resets, and I can't update because of their file servers (or lack thereof). The Lian Li case is superb. The strimmer lighting looks great and is customizable. The CPU cooler is where the RGB software could be better. Even with the great cable management, the back of that case is STUFFED with cables, Lian Li USB controllers, internal USB hub. The fact that I put a RAID 10 SSD array in there didn't help with space. It seems like no mater what improvements are made with cable management, I'll find a way to fill it with cables! I was going with an ASUS 4080, but it was out of stock when I went to the store, so I settled for the Zotac. It's fine, but the RGB is about 3 years behind the RDG in the rest of the box. Even though it was 1200 bucks, I won't hesitate to return it if the 4080 super comes out in time. I may replace it with a 5000 series in a couple of years. My background is scientific computing, and this PC is about on par with the number of threads and memory that was in $20K servers I was using in 2010. I really like that it's super quiet, even with 6 fans. When its running full blast, its makes half the noise that my 2015 does. I'll probably try DnD next...but then will go back to checking my email! This PC specs out in the top 1% in Passmark. But 1% is a huge number of builds. Maybe next time I go ThreadRipper and Nivida XX90!$3,655.81 -

I wanted a machine that could last me more than 5 years, and I am confident that this is the one. This machine build is mainly to get me more power for video editing and production as well as photography. I am starting to explore the world of Steam tho lol. I tried to get this machine ProArt as much as I could get it. Other than the case from NXZT (which is AMAZING) and the RAM, everything in this box is ASUS. I wanted to theme the box out will gold highlight, but I really like the decision to go with white for the case. Everything else I left black and the box looks clean AF. I did add a ThermalRight contact frame to this socket, and it has changed my life!!! Highly recommended. I may have also splurged a little when it came to the AIO with the Ryujin III, but........... The Delorean from Back to the Future looks FANTASTIC on it so it's a keeper.$3,299.89
