This was a budget build I did for a friend, keeping cost in mind, but also a clean look and decent performance. The combination of Ryzen 5600 with RX 6600 is amazing, giving me over 200fps on fortnite (performance mode) on a 1080p, for the budget, this is an amazing build, still looking cool and modern. Sadly, all prices went up in microcenter a month later and I'm not able to replicate this build, the cheapest I could find was a Ryzen 5500 with GTX 1660 Super and a B450 board, paying over $50 on tob of this build, too sad.$664.91 -

I use it mainly for school work and some occasional gaming (Valorant, Minecraft, the likes). I feel like overall I did a good job, as I did a lot of price hunting and got my GPU eBay, the rest from Microcenter with their insane deals. One thing I would have changed if I knew about this earlier was to get a better motherboard - the B450M is good but I ran into a lot of problems for some reason, maybe it was me? This build cost me around $450 - yes, you may have seen the price above, but it did cost me around $450 because of some coupons I used, the GPU came from eBay, and lots of deals Microcenter had at the time I made this a month back. Whatever the case, overall I loved this project.$635.93 -

The main goal of this build was to move my clunky ATX mid tower into a smaller form factor. After searching around, I found that Microcenter had unbeatable deals on open box items. Everything went great with the build, and I'm super happy with how it turned out. After selling my old components, my net cost totals to about $90. I'm mainly playing Overwatch 2 right now.$664.91 -

First of all, this is the first pc I've attempted to build in maybe 12-15 years. Technology is very different now. So I'm basically calling myself a beginner. I started building this mainly to have a pc that's very budget friendly and one that will be flexible upgradable down the road if I decide I want to do that. Selecting the components was a process of learning. But it was fun!$649.96 -

This was a gaming pc that was built for my family to use both for gaming and everyday use. Almost every part was from microcenter with the exception of the CPU cooler. I play games such as Rocket League on this and my sister uses this for games such as Sims. I may eventually start overclocking this build as the thermals are great at current usage but I have not done any overclocking yet because i am able to get overkill FPS for the old 60Hz monitor I currently have. I don't have any current plans for upgrades and to be honest I don't think I would have changed too much if I could do it again. These parts were very good for my budget and I am very happy with how the build turned out overall.$688.82 -

They have been asking for a gaming PC and I thought building it together from the ground up would be a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon together. For now we have no future upgrades in mind other that cable extensions for the it to look cooler and also to allow better cable management. I don't think there's anything I would have done differently other than to caution my kids that once built, the process of installing and bring the OS up to date would take som additional time. They just wanted to download games right after the BIOS screen came up!$715.43 -

I use it for school and gaming. I play Fortnite at around 200 fps on medium settings and Valorant at around 300-500 fps on medium-high settings. I will probably be upgrading the gpu later on and adding some rgb but for now, I love the build. Also the power supply is a 600w not 500w but it isn't on the list.$543.92 -

My 11 year old son has a passion for computers and always asked if he could build his own PC. He went on YouTube and did all the research on AMD/Intel, which Motherboard and graphics card he should get. Also he had a budget for his birthday money from parents and grandparents, so he was very cautious to not go over that. We finally got all the parts and since he had already done his research he was able to assemble with very little help from me to get all setup.$747.87 -

I had been using a Mac Mini for the past few years and was starting to miss having a PC for a number of reasons. It was time for an upgrade. Counter Strike 2 was recently announced which reignited my interest in building a PC. I didn't want to spend a ton of money - the goal was to keep it under $1000. I was pleasantly surprised with the computer I was able to piece together! I somehow managed to spend less than I did back in 2010! This PC will serve as a casual gaming PC as well as a daily driver. In addition to casual gaming, I have a small youtube channel - https://www.youtube.com/@Franchyze923 I post videos about computers, homelab, programming tutorials and other topics. I plan on making a video about this PC build! This PC will be used to making tutorials, video editing and streaming.$742.93 -

All of a sudden, I needed a PC for school and my mom helped take me to me Micro Center to get the parts, along with covering half of the cost (the rest I paid with my birthday money). A friend of mine who knows how to build PCs helped me with it, and it turned out just they way I wanted it. I plan on making stuff using programs like Adobe Premiere Pro or Blender, but I also might as well use the PC to play games because of how well it runs.$579.92 -
