It has zero RGB and is able to really show the blackness in its all its glory. The PC runs quiet, was a lot easier to cable manage since it has no extra cables from the RGB and performs very well at 1440p. After a couple of years of having an SFF gaming build, I decided that I want to go back to ATX. This build is a combination of reusing parts from the past along with black friday buys. I play Overwatch, Counter Strike 2, Valheim, Elden Ring, and lately have been playing all of the Kingdom Hearts game at 4k. The 3070 works well at 4k for me. On less demanding games I can fully saturate my 160hz 4k monitor, and at more intensive games I can reach 80fps with some graphics tweaks. I plan to upgrade to the 5800x3d, and in the future plan to upgrade to the next gen gpu's, but my 3070 has been treating me great so far so not really pressured to upgrade my gpu yet.$1,194.96 -

They have a shared desk space, and a limited area. I also love small form factor, and doing new things in the space. So I used my favorite PC case (FormD T1) and put not one, but two fuly functional PCs in it. One is a Ryzen APU PC, and the other is a low TDP intel CPU paired with an Nvidia GPU (I covered the big three chip makers in one box!). Single slot GPU was essential, so a professional card was about the only option. (1070 Katana's are incredibly rare).$1,611.94 -

I built this pc because I wanted a small portable gaming system that can fit in my backpack. It allows me to take the pc on the go and play games at a friend's house or at a hotel. The only game I played so far on it is Yakuza 0 and it runs great at 60fps considering I am only using the AMD integrated graphics. The case I bought has space for a single slot graphics card, so I plan on purchasing a rx 6400 or gtx 1650 in the future to play more modern games.$449.93 -

I built it back in February 2020 with friends, my entire friend group has always been in love with computers and when I finally got the money to build my own everyone helped out. It's decorated with all sorts of random stickers and nick-nacs, D&D/game themed pins and even an old pocket watch on the front. As far as games go you name it, I've got a capture card so I can play ps2 games through OBS. A true assortment of games to say the least, Minecraft, Foundry, Space engineers, Dishonored, Half life (both older half life games and half life alyx on pcvr), Metro games, Phas, Mirror edge... the list goes on for miles. There is not much to say on what I would want different, I will likely upgrade the gpu and cpu in the future but that feels years and years away from now. Regardless of what game I try to throw at it from when I built it to now, the system holds up. All that has changed with it from the day I first turned it on is the addition of another 2x8gb RAM kit, another 2TB HDD and a noctua cooler. Compared to the laptop I had previously this feels like owning a super computer. I went from a 940m laptop gpu and an i7-5500U which at the time of building my pc would idle at 80-100% cpu usage when running anything including a single chrome tab to a computer where I can host a dedicated space engineers server for me and my friends to play on together blows my mind to this day.$1,695.19 -

It was a side-grade that only kept the original power supply and graphics card. The main reason for this side-grade was my discontent with the styling of my previous build, which was an all-black RGB build. The Corsair AIO was loud, and while it was nice to look at to an extent, the RGB became obnoxious at night. I wanted to start fresh with a build that would be quieter, include only ssd storage, and overall would be more streamlined. This build was the result! Instead of abandoning my am4 setup that has served me well for many years, I decided to buy the processor that represented the single best upgrade available on the am4 socket, which is the 5900x3d. It pairs with my rtx 3080 nicely so far. One thing i might have done differently is a minor compatibility ive found between my motherboard and this particular rtx 3080.
