I built this new rig because trying to play Apex Legends on an older Asus A88XM-Plus with an Athlon 860k and a 1050ti just wasn't cutting it for me. It was time to upgrade.Problem was i didn't have an unlimited budget. Im a big fan of AMD and a Asus so I knew that a Ryzen cpu and a Asus gaming motherboard was a must have. Only thing I was really worried about was a gpu. Like everyone else I been dreaming of NVIDIA 3080 but was not willing to toss $1000 on a gpu. I got a great deal on a Evga 1660 ultra 6gb. The 1660 definitely gets the job done but I will have my 3080 in the near future. The only other thing I would change is the ram. I want to get the Corsair rgb ram. Other than that this mid grade gaming rig is done.$1,787.92 -

This was my first and currently the only PC I've built so I wanted to build it with fairly modern specs for it's time in the hopes that It would last awhile while also maintaining performance. I always tend to slow update my computer build due to budget constraints so, this build started sometime around 2015 and slowly, i updated the parts from time to time depending on the budget and availability of the parts. This is my only computer for games and general purpose use. overall, it's a decent update but i am very satisfied. the only components that came from 2015 were the CPU and the Motherboard. ( Intel Core i7 6700k Skylake and Gigabyte Gaming G7 LGA 1151 motherboard ) all the rest were updated this year due to pandemic situation. This build is not done yet and will continue to upgrade some parts like the graphics card and the AIO cooler soon before changing the cpu and the motherboard if the budget permits.$1,863.90
