Mostly new parts but bought CPU and case with fans second hand and a few things on deals or with coupons savings money. Putting it together was very easy after watching videos and reading manuals. Just need to take time and be firm but delicate with parts. As for bios settings, using Intel POR helps keep everything cool and playing games with no hassle. Fans don’t get very loud when going full blast so generally a very pleasant experience using the PC so far.$2,994.91 -

My aging 1050 laptop needed an upgrade, so I decided it was time for a new system. I hunted for discounts aggressively: scoring free RAM bundled with the CPU, opting for B-stock fans, and snagging the case, PSU, and SSD on sale. Building the new setup was a breeze from start to finish. The H7 Flow case is not only beautiful but also spacious and enjoyable to work with. Even the B-stock fans looked brand new. My only complaint is that the a-rgb headers are inconveniently placed, making cable management a bit messy. The performance is impressive. The Sims 3 runs at an absurd 700-800 fps with all settings maxed out, while Ark: Survival Ascended, a more demanding title, sits comfortably in the 70s on high and epic settings. The CPU and GPU temperatures rarely exceed 60°C.$1,829.92 -

This time around I decided to go AMD instead of my usual Intel/Nvidia build. The Gigabyte Aorus Z790 Master X using Intel's 14700k CPU and Sapphire's 7900 xtx 24GB GPU has brought my gaming into the front lines of 2024. I currently play games like GTA V online, MWIII, Minecraft, and a little W.O.W. I haven't started streaming yet, but this was built with the best experience in mind. This machine should last me for the next 8+ years with enough capabilities to easily be relevant until the end. Without getting too deep into the metrics, I am able to run MWIII at maximum settings and still avg. ~230 FPS. I am only using dual 1080p monitors by the way, but that is going to be upgraded to 4k monitors to match the quality of my new build. On the side, I have an older model Yamaha receiver, HTR-6240, a 5.1 channel Surround sound experience like no other on a desktop PC.$2,837.86 -

If i remember this right, it's been over 13 years since I've built my first (and only) desktop PC, so I came into this one a little bit rusty and barely any experience. Since then, I mostly just used consoles for gaming, considering that first PC was VERY low end, but i finally got the courage to step into the "master race" once again. After a lot of catching up and a bunch of youtube videos, yet another Fractal North build was born... All jokes aside, I don't remember having as much fun doing something in the last few years, as I had building this thing from the ground up! And you get that extra warm feeling when the build comes to life, EXACTLY as you imagined it.$2,474.92 -

Built this for the whole family to hop on and kill bad guys, crash cars or build forts on. It is definitely overkill for COD, dayz and Minecraft but I didn’t want to have to worry about upgrading in the future. I used to just buy pre-built PCs before and ever since my previous one died, I've decided to have a go. Was surprised how relatively easy it was. Granted, however, that I've invested quite some hours into youtube and reddit studying the topic lol. Happy how it turned out, the next step will be to buy a vertical GPU mount and to wait until my NZXT hub arrives, so I can connect the Streamer Lian Li cables. The fan config is 4 exhaust (1 rear, 3 top) and 6 intake reverse blade fans (3 side, 3 bottom).$2,675.28 -

I wanted to create a high-end gaming PC that would leave even the most serious gamers, streamers, and simulators in awe. The sleek white design with the custom Corsair Water Loop gives it a sophisticated look. And let's not forget the stunning Lian Li Strimer Plus RGB extension cables that add a touch of brilliance to the setup. But the real showstopper is the white Radeon RX 7900xtx Hellhound Spectral, which truly completes the aesthetic. Its power and performance are unmatched, delivering an immersive gaming experience like no other. To make this PC not just a powerhouse but also a work of art, I opted for the 128GB G Skill z5 Trident Memory. This not only ensures lightning-fast speeds but also adds a touch of elegance to the overall design. From its impressive specs to its breathtaking visuals, this gaming PC is a true masterpiece. It's not just a computer, but a statement piece that showcases the passion and dedication we have for gaming.$4,399.35 -

It's aimed at 1440p gaming at ultra-high graphic settings and FPS. Therefore, I got the top-of-the-line GPU and CPU! The GPU cost over a grand! Luckily, I got everything from Microcenter during the holiday sale, so most parts are brought at a discount. This build didn't disappoint. It's actually an overkill for 1440p gaming. It has no problem handling 4k gaming. I might upgrade and buy a 4k monitor later to do that.$2,799.94 -

Never built a system before so was excited to put something together with a top of the line GPU and CPU combo. All items were purchased within around a week, taking advantage of some online Black Friday sales This system is primarily for gaming, and some video editing, I've paired it with a LG 32GP750 1440p 165Hz monitor, I also have it hooked up to a 55" Sony X90k to run 4k 120Hz. No complaints putting everything together, the popular Corsair 4000D was super easy for install and had more than ample room for the huge 7900XTX, also no crazy RGB here, just simple and neat. Temps have been good so far, the Peerless Assassin cooler is plenty, I have yet to see temps run past about 70c with gaming use. There's definitely coil whine coming from the GPU during intensive gameplay, can be annoying but not a huge deal when you have your volume up or headphones in.$2,027.92 -

A standing desk or a comfortable chair makes what you do, fun longer. This PC build was not to be a disco, but a cool expression of clean. Finding an empty room and making it a space to create was the goal. Set-up includes: Intel 14700k, 7900xtx pulse, 216 Lian Li case, MSI Z690 Carbon, 32gb OLOy DDR5 Blade 6800MHz, Samsung 990Pro 2TB. 2x LG 32" 2k monitors. 2x PC under desk holders from HUANUO. The main goal of this build was to get a high-performance gaming experience while still being extremely capable of running intense productivity workloads. Since my last build was also extremely loud with 12+ fans in the Antec LanBoy Air case, I set out to build something that would be significantly quieter while gaming and succeeded. This system is also intended to be ultra reliable, requiring only periodic dusting for maintenance, and highly upgradeable over the next few years as needed. This build ended up going a completely different direction from the i9-13900K and Z790 Maximus Hero that I originally purchased, but I have to say that I've been extremely happy with it even though I've always been an Intel fan.$3,607.89
