I build this computer for my family member because she wanted a gaming computer that she also could do some production work for her job and host a file/media server for the rest of her friends. She loves this computer and I may or may not also play games with her computer when she is not looking :P. I'm really proud of how this build came out and I hope to upgrade soon!$1,319.92 -

I built it because I always stuck to consoles and I wanted more power out of my games. Plus I had a really bad laptop so I took this as an opportunity to build a good pc. After months of research, tons of Youtube videos, and changing my mind countless times I finally pulled the trigger on my first and definitely not last pc build! I always saw people with these super clean builds and I never thought it would be possible for me but PATIENCE IS KEY! This thing is a beast! I really only play high FPS competitive shooter games and of course I could have spent more money but i wanted to stay under a budget of 1200 AFTER TAX but also be super clean with a mostly all white theme. I really suggest doing tons of research and knowing exactly what you want out of the computer! Anyone can build something like this with a little time and research!$1,003.93 -

I think it turned out very well, and with a few tweaks to the GPU settings, I can hit over 100 fps on all current games (Minecraft, Fortnite, Battlefield, etc.) at 1080p medium graphics settings. I like to run a few cad sims and code just for fun. I don't really do any computationally demanding tasks, so the parts I have are significant for my current needs. I plan on upgrading sometime in the near future (around Q3 2023) to something like a 3070 ti/ 4070 or a 6800 xt so I can run games at 1440p.$939.91 -

First, I was in the process of shopping for expanded storage for my current-gen xbox console. This was really frustrating because the proprietary format expansion cards the console must use are really expensive, especially compared to how prices have really fallen for pc storage devices (both sata and m.2 pci-e drives). The second instance that really sparked this build was seeing a RTX 3060 Ti graphics card at a really good price at Microcenter. With those two factors combined, I was ready to drop by plans of buying expensive console storage and just make my own DIY console.$1,129.91 -

This build is specifically designed for 1440p High FPS on High to Max settings. I decided that Ray-Tracing was a feature I didn't really care for or notice even when it was on. I didn't want to break the bank either. I started with absolutely nothing not even a mouse and keyboard. So that will skew the price a little higher. But if you're already equipped and just going for a new PC build this one is great! Without the monitor but including Windows license and the usb to update the bios you're looking at about $1550.00. NOTE - The motherboard, processor, and first 16GB of ram was in a bundle. The graphics card was on sale for 649 and included a 50 dollar discount when purchased with any processor. Your price may vary depending on the bundles available along with any sales going on. Honestly this may not be the highest end equipment, but spending any more will result in diminishing returns. You could get an RTX 4080 or whatever but unless your going for ray tracing we're talking about getting 10 to 20 more frames more than the 140 to 170 for AAA games for 270 to 290 for e-sports games at high/max settings than your already getting. It's just not worth it in my eyes. This, in my eyes, is just the perfect build.$1,405.93 -
