I do many things with a pc(Play Games, Run LLMs, Write Code, ETC,)and I got sick of my old laptop(i5-10300H, GTX 1650 TI mobile, 8gb DDR4 2933mhz.) So I decided to build a brand new powerhouse, in which I am writing this right now. Now that I have built my own rig at this point, time to give you some advice. First and foremost, if you want the absolute best PTP(Price To Performance)PLEASE do not give in to any of those prebuilt pcs, they are built and sold for a profit(which I, in all means respect.)Like I got a 4070 TI Super and Ryzen 9 7950x3d, With the amount that I spent I could only get an i9-13900kf and 4070 TI from NZXT and from Build Redux I could only get a 4070 TI Super and 7950x with only 16gb ram(in NZXT and custom I got 32gb). And for my 2nd piece of advice, enjoy the build expierience you know, have fun.$2,572.91 -

Built around the Microcenter 7800x3D bundle with the Gigabyte B650 Gaming X MB and G.Skill Flare X5 RAM. I wanted to go with something similar to the Lian Li case but found a much cheaper case from a brand I’ve never heard of but achieves the same look. Really just wanted to get something with glass panels to show off all the Arctic RGB matching fans. Also found a cheap CPU cooler that was a dual tower design to keep the 7800x3D cooled.$1,674.95 -

I built my pc last year just graduated high school worked over the summer and was able to save enough to build. The main games I play are call of duty and overwatch right now. I don’t plan on upgrading till after college I wanted to spend a lot now on this build so it’ll last and so far it’s amazing on every game. Last thing I am upgrading here is more storage.$1,394.93 -

With 4k not being too relevant just yet, this was an affordable option without giving up too much performance, but still look good and perform well! Overkill 980 Pro for Boot and 2TB Evo for everything else! Will probably upgrade to 7800x3D and 7800XT/ GRE sometime this year when the sales roll around!$2,057.96 -

Used mostly to play single person games like Star wars Fallen order/Survivor, Baldurs Gate 3, Alan Wake 2, God of War, Horizon Zero Down, Cyberpunk 2077, etc. Also used for light photo and video editing. This is my 3rd build...usually refresh about every 5 years. Love tinkering with it and tweaking it. Did not set out to build such an ASUS focused rig, but it just ended up that way. LOL. Pretty happy with it so far, but wish I could afford an OLED 4K and a 4090! Also would love to get more in to customizing and liquid custom cooling. Maybe next time.$2,541.00 -

This is my PC setup which I have gradually upgraded over the years with a mix of old and new components. There is some jank involved in my setup as I had to use Lego to hold a monitor in place and to have a webcam that I could use without blocking parts of my main monitor screen as it has thin bezels. The prices in the parts may not be reflective of current pricing as the prices I entered are the prices I paid at the time I acquired the parts. I mainly use it for gaming, productivity tasks, and virtualization.$4,463.00
