I wanted a machine that could last me more than 5 years, and I am confident that this is the one. This machine build is mainly to get me more power for video editing and production as well as photography. I am starting to explore the world of Steam tho lol. I tried to get this machine ProArt as much as I could get it. Other than the case from NXZT (which is AMAZING) and the RAM, everything in this box is ASUS. I wanted to theme the box out will gold highlight, but I really like the decision to go with white for the case. Everything else I left black and the box looks clean AF. I did add a ThermalRight contact frame to this socket, and it has changed my life!!! Highly recommended. I may have also splurged a little when it came to the AIO with the Ryujin III, but........... The Delorean from Back to the Future looks FANTASTIC on it so it's a keeper.$3,299.89 -

First build ever using it for gaming and some SolidWorks when I need to work from home. Going to change case to something a little more tasteful and get cablemod stealth wire and extensions and just extra frill to make it look way better. The case is GREAT at keeping the components bathed in cool air, but it's just not the greatest looking case. Thinking about hardline water-cooling for the CPU and GPU that way I can keep the 7900X and 4090 cool and make the build look way cooler (If I do it right that is...) Microcenter makes all other electronics store second grade. Can’t wait till my next build.$3,344.93 -

This one was built for image processing using either Photoshop and DaVinci Reslove. I have built several systems in the past for myself and family members. This time I wanted to push the performance envelope more and make fewer cost compromises. In Photoshop I experiment with many of the creative tools. I also restore photos and create of still frames for video. For my street photography, I use Photoshop for some of the more challenging RAW processing and color grading. In DaVinci Resolve I edit short documentaries and clean up live stream videos that I produce, including color grading.$3,461.83 -

The main goal of this build was to get a high-performance gaming experience while still being extremely capable of running intense productivity workloads. Since my last build was also extremely loud with 12+ fans in the Antec LanBoy Air case, I set out to build something that would be significantly quieter while gaming and succeeded. This system is also intended to be ultra reliable, requiring only periodic dusting for maintenance, and highly upgradeable over the next few years as needed. This build ended up going a completely different direction from the i9-13900K and Z790 Maximus Hero that I originally purchased, but I have to say that I've been extremely happy with it even though I've always been an Intel fan.$3,607.89 -

I am a gamer, and I focus on graphics and smooth game play, so the games I play take up a lot of room and computing power. With a game library of over 1,000 games and constantly getting more, I have to keep adding and/or replacing parts to my rig. Anything from older Command and Conquer games, Mass Effect, Starcraft; to new hits like Cyberpunk 2077, Starfield, Destiny 2, Battlefield. With this in mind I am always looking at new gear and reviews (even when not planning an upgrade) so I am able to keep up with new games while making sure I can still play the old favorites. I am looking into the streaming field as well, just not sure how to start getting followers.$8,174.25 -

I built this PC to replace my previous computer which started out as a CyberPower PC pre-built machine but had been upgraded several times over the last few years. My PC before would run just about everything to some level, but some of the newer AAA titles struggled a little bit. I decided I would build a machine that would be able to keep up with more modern AAA titles at maxed out settings. I started by choosing a case and landed on the Asus ROG Strix Helios, and after making that decision, I decided that I would theme the rest of the machine around the Asus ROG line of products.$2,107.92 -

Hello, my name is Arte and I'm completely addicted to overhauling my desktop pc for the sake of making marginal improvements. Or perhaps I just enjoy tinkering. Regardless, those are my honest reasons of why I built this. This machine functions as and replaces my primary gaming desktop pc. I mostly play fps games such as Doom Eternal. I was really tired of ddr4 and was ready to make the switch to ddr5 since the price on ddr5 has come down significantly over recent months. I also upgraded my video card to a RTX 4070 so that I could use gsync on a recently acquired monitor. I also upgraded to a more robust air cpu cooler so that it could handle the temps of an i7 13700k cpu.$2,364.91 -

The main reason I built this setup is that I had an opportunity to acquire a formerly very high-end video card from a friend second hand at a reasonable price. He has since moved on to the RTX 4090 (which I think is somewhat silly) but I couldn't pass up a chance to acquire a 3090 ti. The main reason I wanted to do this is that the newest games being made (such as the new game Starfield, releasing in 1 week from this review) are now using a high amount of vram. I'm not sure if the 8gb on my old 3070 card was going to be sustainable going forward. And so now I have a ridiculous, unrealistic, extremely excessive amount of vram (24gb!).$2,061.89 -

Needed a new Desktop to replace my aging i7-4930k, that was starting to get seriously bottle necked. Even running with an RTX 3080ti Gaming was not the greatest and relying on a RAID 0 of SSD's was a disaster waiting to happen. Started with a Case that I liked and then picked out the top line CPU and Motherboard Combo. Just so happens that everything was in the ASUS TuF line of products so that became the theme for the build.$2,664.66 -

One of my friends was looking at upgrading his computer, so I ended up doing a build for him. He told me what he was looking for, and we looked together to find matching parts for his system. We went with a CPU + mobo bundle from microcenter since it was a great value. The NH-D15 was selected instead of an AIO out of an abundance of caution, to avoid the risks of any fluid damage. 6800XT for GPU as it was a great bang for the buck option.$1,606.92 -
