Made this PC mainly to do some light gaming as well as be able to handle light work tastks I may need to do while at home. Made it with some older parts but still handles everthing I throw at it today. I also didn't want it to be too big so I went with micro ATX.$703.93 -

I built this pc over time carefully selecting parts to use temporarily in my atx case until I could buy an SFF one. I joined a fantastic and helpful discord community who helped me along the way. I love how it's going so far! Planning on an new Ncase. Maybe the Streacom F1 or to be announced Mach 3. I still have a 970, but looking to upgrade very soon. The 13700k is a beast. I apologize for the rough photo shot, I am very close to the build of my dreams!$1,137.92 -

He only plays war thunder, APEX, and other non-graphical intense games, so 3060ti is good enough. He was very happy to have his very first own gaming PC. The only thing I would upgrade to this build is to add another monitor, or get a bigger monitor.$1,598.93 -

Bought and built this to primarily play games and to finally have a machine that can handle all current gen title games at 1080p. Games like Apex Legends and Halo Infinite all hold a framerate well above 144hz at the highest graphic settings with no problems as well as keeping cool. This computer also allowed me to be able to record my gameplay in high quality using OBS thanks to NVIDIA'S nvenc encoder in part to the 3060 RTX. Video editing programs such as adobe premiere also run well to edit footage together to create youtube compilations of the many games I play. Eventually upgraded the storage on the computer with SSD drives which was easy due to the microATX motherboard being in a ATX size case for ease of building as well as the case having drivebays on the back panel of the computer.$1,137.92 -

A complete beast of a PC that I have spent 1.3k on- The Pros: - Runs fast and has DLSS 2.0 Compatibility - Quiet, barely makes a sound - Has easily swapable parts that help with upgrades and the like. The Cons: - Silicon is Expensive :D - No Heatsink on I/O for MoBo, and only one heatsink for 2nd NVME Slot (No surprise there) - Will have to upgrade in 5 years or so What is it used for? - Content Creation, more specifically 1080p Video Editing and the like - Gaming, and lots of it thanks to the graphics it can pull off - Just messing around and whatever I need it to do. The Core i5 pulls it's weight by the ton, I've never used something this fast before. Advice- I actually got my Monitor from Costco, it's only 199.99 and runs like a dream. Also, be careful with the case screws, if you don't get them right the first time putting in your GPU will be a nightmare. Also, for GPUs, if you intend on getting an EVGA brand one look for their B-stock, it often eliminates anywhere from 30-100 dollars off their cards ;) Overall, happy with my first build and would 10/10 Recommend$1,041.91 -

My last build was lga 1155 i7-2700K. Back then I was still single and have money to spend lol. Now after moving here to the US I decided to build a entry to mid 1080p all around PC for my family ang get my son into PC building and gaming. What I love of todays build is you don't need a disk drive anymore! I still remember buying a 60Gb 2.5 SSD for my booth drive and 1 Tb HDD for my file storage. NVME SSD's are God sent it makes the build look more clean! Looking forward to building my personal gaming PC once I get settled here and save up.$1,714.93 -

I built it pretty recently, with most parts being new, and a couple like the GPU being bought used. I made sure to get a Radeon card so that the drivers would play nice with Linux Mint, my preferred OS. I've been playing a quite a few games on it, like CS GO, Doom Eternal, Dying Light, Dota 2, and The Witcher 3. They all run pretty well, so I'm happy with the build. Of course, regular tasks like web browsing also work flawlessly. In hindsight, the one thing I would change is to get the F variant of my Core i5, because I have a dedicated card anyway, making the CPU's integrated GPU pretty much pointless.$887.51
