Things have changed a lot over the years. I made some small changes with a case swap, new cooler, and storage back in 2021. Now it's been completely refreshed with a new platform and GPU. It's basically a new build at this point and I'm so glad with how it turned out. Also I 100% needed a GPU sag bracket, this card is HUGE. I mainly use this build for gaming and talking to friends. I recently just finished playing Nier Replicant and Nier Automata. Those were extremely fun! I also upgraded to a 1440p monitor which has been a crazy change. I bought the 7700x, RAM, and Mobo combo deal at Microcenter since that seemed like the most effective way to upgrade from my old 8600k platform. Saved a good 200 ish dollars there. As for my GPU, it is an insane improvement over my previous GTX 1070. Overall I'm happy with how this build as turned out!$1,470.90 -

Sleek, blacked-out look, great air cooling, and best of all, it's light on the RGB! The GPU is the only component with "RGB" (technically just has a switch on the GPU for blue/purple/off). ATX 3.0 compatible PSU and a mid tower case that will fit a future GPU upgrade up to 360mm. Enjoy the build and happy gaming!$1,584.58 -

I completed the entire assembly except the GPU 2 weeks ago because the 4070 super is releasing this week. I just got the newly released 4070 super from Micro Center today. My build was finally complete. After installing the driver, the build is working perfectly. I tested it with Resident Evil 4 Remake and Wo Long, and it was able to render smooth 2K graphics at ultra-high graphic settings. No stutter during 5 hours of gameplay.$2,179.94 -

Never built a system before so was excited to put something together with a top of the line GPU and CPU combo. All items were purchased within around a week, taking advantage of some online Black Friday sales This system is primarily for gaming, and some video editing, I've paired it with a LG 32GP750 1440p 165Hz monitor, I also have it hooked up to a 55" Sony X90k to run 4k 120Hz. No complaints putting everything together, the popular Corsair 4000D was super easy for install and had more than ample room for the huge 7900XTX, also no crazy RGB here, just simple and neat. Temps have been good so far, the Peerless Assassin cooler is plenty, I have yet to see temps run past about 70c with gaming use. There's definitely coil whine coming from the GPU during intensive gameplay, can be annoying but not a huge deal when you have your volume up or headphones in.$2,027.92 -

It took me a day to put it together. I did take apart my old prebuild to clean the dust out before, so I had some experience putting a computer together. And everything has been working great. I built this PC for gaming. I mainly play games with amazing storylines and good graphics such as God of War and The Witcher 3.$1,617.94 -

This one was built for image processing using either Photoshop and DaVinci Reslove. I have built several systems in the past for myself and family members. This time I wanted to push the performance envelope more and make fewer cost compromises. In Photoshop I experiment with many of the creative tools. I also restore photos and create of still frames for video. For my street photography, I use Photoshop for some of the more challenging RAW processing and color grading. In DaVinci Resolve I edit short documentaries and clean up live stream videos that I produce, including color grading.$3,461.83 -

Purpose of the Build: My build is geared towards an immersive gaming experience. With a focus on playing games like Apex, COD, and Assassin's Creed, I aimed to create a powerful rig that delivers exceptional performance for my gaming preferences. Gaming Preferences: I'm a fan of intense and action-packed games like Apex Legends, Call of Duty, and the engaging narratives of Assassin's Creed. The build is tailored to handle these games seamlessly, providing a visually stunning and responsive gaming environment. Content Creation and Coding: While my primary use is gaming, I also dabble in coding during my free time. The build, with its robust specifications, ensures smooth coding sessions and fast compilation times. Future Upgrades: Currently, I find my build more than capable for my gaming and coding needs, so there are no immediate plans for future upgrades. The current configuration meets my requirements effectively. Hindsight Considerations: In hindsight, I might have opted for a 360 AIO cooling solution, but this would have required a larger case. If I were to revisit my choices, the Corsair 5000D would have been my top pick for a case that accommodates a 360 AIO while providing ample space for future expansions.$2,149.91 -
