We researched parts for 2 months and built everything over Memorial day weekend. We took advantage of Microcenter's great prices (and price matching) for half of the items. The goal is that this will be a computer that will last him through high school. He's interested in gaming and programming. We made sure that there are options for him to expand in the future (dedicated GPU, more memory, etc). It was a great experience to learn how all the parts of a computer come together!$817.79 -

This is a build I did for my sister, who asked me to build her a gaming PC so she could play Rimworld and Minecraft. Since she's a college student, I pulled every trick I could, including using the Microcenter 7700X bundle and store card discount, and gave her spare parts.$1,259.45 -

I finished up my first two semesters of college with a 3.7gpa so I decided to award myself with a new PC to game over summer break. Primary focus for the rig is gaming, but wanted to spend a little extra so that it's beefy basically enough to do anything since I'll be bringing with me back to my dorm next year.$1,969.92 -

PSU is over 8 years old and still going. Currently upgrading CPU to Ryzen 7 5700 X3D from Ryzen 5 3600X to keep AM4 build going. For the future would like to upgrade all older Hard Disks and SSD's to M.2 drives but don't currently have enough slots. Might have to upgrade PSU at some point. Hopefully I can get 1 more GPU upgrade in here before having to get a new cpu. Hopefully good for another 5 years? Use my PC for light gaming and photoshop work. Also use for coding projects.$1,727.66 -

Instead of trying to figure out what parts needed to be replaced, I thought it was a good time to just build an entire new PC from scratch. I built this mainly for gaming as I use a Macbook Pro for work and other day to day tasks. Given that this was my first build and I wasn't too confident, I did not want to spend a whole lot and just opted for the best bang for the buck I could get. So far it's been a beast and I plan on adding some Noctua fans in the future to quiet it down a bit and improve airflow.$1,359.92 -

Purchased this for a relative who was looking for a budget PC to be able to play games on their 1080p monitor. Strictly on a budget of $600 and while building with all new parts would have went over their budget, I was able to help them find something used from a friend who was upgrading their setup and selling their old desktop PC. Dusted/cleaned out the case and leaned up the cabling before installing Windows 10 and making sure everything works. Hopefully this PC will last for at least 7-10 years.$600.00 -

Built this for someone who wanted the latest AM5 and they were upgrading from an old AM3 build which was almost 10 years old and wanted to build something to last just as long. Decided to use a AMD GPU to keep everything AMD and also stay below budget (as we did not plan to use NVIDIA's features like DLSS and RTX for the games they play). To play their current games such as R6 Siege, FFXIV, Overwatch, CS2, and Valorant.$1,523.92 -

Ended up winning a reddit giveaway for a 4090 that I wouldn't be able to fit in my current build. After struggling to sell the 4090 on eBay, I decided to just build a whole new rig to accomodate it. Don't worry, my 5600G build went to my dad so he'd have a proper office PC, and I'm hanging onto my 6700XT in case the 4090 ever decides to off itself (*knock on wood*). I didn't choose the Evangelion theme... the Evangelion theme chose me.$1,492.92 -
