This build is primarily for gaming but I do dabble a bit in content creation. I also do a steady amount of work from home here. For work I rent the cameras that shoot most major motion pictures and TV Shows. I am based in Los Angeles California. This is what I would consider revision #6 of my entire setup spanning from ~2011 to present day. Is a build ever really complete?$11,333.57 -

I had an older desktop that ran an i5 and the GTX1060 with a standard monitor. With this build, I wanted to upgrade more on the internal parts as well as my monitor to give myself a great computer that would run everything I needed. However, I did not upgrade the CPU to a high-end processor or the video card as I built it around a budget as well as what would satisfy my needs. However, my upgrade itch did cause me to expand from one regular monitor to three 27” MSI curved gaming monitors. In addition, since it was a gaming machine, I wanted to add some flair with RGB, so I did incorporate that into the build. Currently, I am using it to play World of Warcraft, Skyrim, PUBG and Star Citizen (Beta). So far, this machine has run everything I have thrown at it and has met every expectation I wanted.$3,678.98 -

I have recently used it to play Hitman 3, Resident Evil Village, Final Fantasy VII Remake, New World, Cyberpunk, and other various titles. When not playing I use it for work on various Microsoft Office and Paintshop Pro utilities. I have not managed the internal PC only cables yet, as the window is always against a desk, so not visible anyway. The external cable management for the visible setup is finished though.$3,138.91 -

The main purpose of this rig is gaming and coding, occasionally running multiple VM's, and run the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. For games it can range from the newest AAA game, or it can be moba's. For coding it can range from taking gigabyte graph files and finding the shortest path, or recommendations (and example of heavy CPU usage). It was important to have a fast CPU with multiple threads. At the time of building Ryzen was an okay option but wasn't the powerhouse that it is currently. If I were to rebuild I would do a Ryzen chip just for the productivity of it. There are a few things I would like to change about the rig: - New 4k Gaming Ultrawide with high refresh rate. - New Graphics Card, currently waiting for the new Nvidia Ampere Cards - Double the RAM from 16GB to 32GB, and changing it out for Corsair Vengeance for RGB control.$2,990.84 -

My son, Chuy, was an avid PS4 fortnite player until I proved him wrong that PC's are way better at gaming. We made a bet that if I built a "Gaming PC Rig" it would beat his PS4 loading times and have a higher resolution (1440p of course). Sure enough he's addicted to his new PC while the PS4 is now collecting dust. This was our first computer build together and could not find a better excuse than to drive to our closest Micro Center (2 hours away) to buy part by part. We have put a lot of work into it and cannot wait to upgrade to a 3080. PS5 my a**.$2,981.79 -

Coming from a 10+ year old PC that was bought from Fry's, I figured it was time for an upgrade. Mainly using my PC for general purposes and a little bit of gaming. Since this was my first time building a PC, I went to YouTube to get some ideas. I was only looking to spend about $1000 but things sure added up quickly. went to PCPartPicker and started putting my list together. After a long wait on some items to finally be back in stock, Im pretty happy with the way it turned out. Next upgrade would be a new GPU to have it match better with the rest of the build.$2,839.86 -

Hello l started to build custom computers a long time ago but l always was so amazed about custom loops so here l am after many years my first custom water loop build. I made a lot of mistakes, the bends are not great and for sure l will redo the bends in the future to make the tubes run more symmetrical. When l was refilling the loop for the first time l forgot to plug one of the ports from the gpu block and a lot of coolant was coming out of it, it was very stressful and funny. Anyways l use the pc to play games after a long day from work and my son plays roblox on it too.$2,724.93 -

After a long hiatus from gaming and building desktops I decided to build this one as an upgrade from my alienware laptop. I wanted to build something that could do 4k gaming (OLED 120hz 4k tv) at tiple A story oriented games like the Witcher and Metro 2033 and still look professional in the living room and enable me to work from home. As an added bonus, it also turned out to be very effective at mining and offsetting its cost.$2,456.93 -

The Red Rebel is my desktop computer, which I use for gaming (I play TABG, HALO MCC, R6, Subnautica, Splitgate, DBD, and DOOM), but during covid, I also used it to attend virtual school, I also use it to 3D print or just do work. I took the idea from Robey Tech's all AMD build, but I decided that I want my case to not show the specific specs for the device, rather I wanted it to just show the AMD architectures so that I can upgrade to different components in the future. I also added 2 acrylic bars to the side rather than the typical vinyl, which adds a bit of pop to the build. I used a 6800 instead of a 3070 because the 3070 I had in the past wasn't too powerful, plus I don't care too much about ray tracing, and the 6800 is better for pure FPS. I used the QL 120s for the best RGB ion fans I could find, and I used the H150i because I could add my own acrylic pannel to the cooler. Also, I would like to add that I don't keep my computer on the floor, this is just where the best lighting and background were. Hope you enjoy the Build$2,344.90 -

I mostly use it for browsing, playing games, and doing work. I used to split my time between my PC, laptop, and iPad but now all of my tasks are completed through the PC. One unexpected problem I found after building my PC was deciding on a theme. Before it was all white LED, but now I try to experiment with different colors and gifs on the CPU cooler.$2,292.90 -

I work from home and my laptop was not cutting it so I decided it was time to upgrade. My main requirements for the PC were that it would be able to play the Sims as well as Battlefront 2 with the possibility of streaming in the future. The first iteration had some coil whine and I upgraded almost every part until I finally realized that the PSU did not have enough wattage to support the rest of the PC while playing intense games.$2,292.89 -
