The reason I built this computer is because I wanted my brother needed one, and I wanted to make sure the components were as efficient as possible in order for the computer to last multiple years without upgrades. I used a B660m max mortar with a 12400 to BCLK overclock the cpu to a stable, but way better cpu. The 4070 is one of the best value buys for the 40 series, and should last a long time. Lastly, the ram is CL18 3600mhz; kinda slow, but it’ll get the job done. The game he mostly plays is League of Legends, which this build is way overkill for, but if he decides he wants to play more intense games, this build be able to handle anything at 1440p.$1,320.83 -

Not much to say about this PC except it's my 2023 upgrade build which I mainly use for work. Main reason that I chose the AMD W5700 was I'm a heavy CAD user so having a good graphics card is a big help for anything. The card itself is second-hand but still works amazing with no issues.$729.84 -

I originally had an inexpensive HP desktop but it was not powerful enough for what I needed so I decided to build a PC from scratch to fit my needs. Over the past year and a half I've slowly been upgrading it with newer parts and this is currently the final iteration (for now at least). I needed a PC powerful enough to handle Photoshop, After Effects, 3D modeling, 3D printing and light gaming without any performance issues. I also wanted to make sure it was a clean aesthetic and nothing too flashy. GPU might be upgraded soon as prices drop, and as much as I love the case I may upgrade it to a mesh front for better airflow in the future.$1,559.98 -

It can run heavily modded Skyrim at a consistent 60 fps and I'm constantly reaching mid 200s in destiny 2 which my monitor definitely cant handle. If I am able to I would like to add a custom light strip on the inside of the case sporting the snake pattern from destiny's gambit game mode.$731.93 -

The first system I built in 2019 was a ryzen 2600 with 1060Ti. It's been 4 years, and it's no longer able to keep up with my gaming needs, so I decided to upgrade! I also work from home, I want something small to fit on my desk, hence I chose the microATX case. I mostly game in front of my desk, so I decided to get a 2K monitors to save some $. IMO, a big 4k gaming monitor doesn't really benefit much if I play really close to the monitor. It's best suited for couch play. The entire build was pretty easy to put together because I did a lot of research online to ensure all components fit in the case. I mostly worried about my GPU, but luckily, it did fit.$2,784.95 -

It was time for me to update or "rebuild" the desktop pc I have been using as a workstation in my home-based small business. It does get occasional gaming use as well, so that's the reasoning behind the choice of a midrange card. I know that the 7600 isn't a powerhouse but it lets me get established on the new am5 socket. Down the road, I play to upgrade to a future model of cpu with a higher thread count for even better performance in workstation applications. This will probably be one of the new "3D" architecture Ryzen cpu's.$954.96 -

I am going to fix it up when I upgrade my heatsink. It's currently on stock heatsink that came with the CPU. When I play games, the CPU core temperature is around 55C. It's not a huge problem, but I will definitely upgrade before summer hits. I am using this PC primary for gaming. I have played Wild heart and Apex on this PC. It's running very smoothly even at ultra graphical setting. No lag or drag. Overall, I am very happy with this setup.$1,754.95 -

I built my first computer in late 2017, and six years later I figured it was time for an upgrade. Being a fresh college graduate, I needed to be on a budget if I wanted an upgrade. The goal of this build was to have a gaming platform that can handle most games at 4k/60fps and will maintain its edge for a long time (3-4 years) with only future GPU upgrades. I think this build is perfect for that. It can handle all games currently out in the market with ease. This build should last a couple of years before becoming completely outdated. With only GPU upgrades, it can keep up because graphic intensive game rely mostly on GPUs and usually not much from CPUs. I usually upgrade my GPUs to the previous gen exactly when the next gen is out and get the used ones to save a ton of money. This 3070 in the build was used, and I got a great deal on it:)$1,893.94 -

I didn't care about having the best graphics card or processor but wanted a smallish build that was all around capable and this PC is perfect so far. I plan to do some moderate gaming on it. So far, I get about 120 FPS in Destiny 2 with max settings and load times are nearly non existent. For the case, I really like the cable management, build quality, and air flow. However, good luck trying to fill the 2.5 and 3.5 slots with hard drives AND have clean cabling. Everything booted great the first time. I did have to manually set the memory speeds to the faster EXPO.$1,404.92 -
