We’ve gamed together competitively across multiple games for over 2 decades. He gave me complete creative freedom on this machine. The only strict requirement was it had to be a closed case as his office can tend to get very dusty. His office is pretty small so I went small. While these images make the machine look larger than life, it’s housed in the Lian Li O11 Mini. His favorite color is blue, and one of the card games he plays, one of his favorite cards has Blue, Cyan, Black, and Purple on it. I themed it to bring that element into the build, beyond just his MMO characters. This machine features a completely custom water distribution block and reservoir that I designed and machined. I also designed and built a custom RGB circuit board that I machined into a plate that I sandwiched inside of the distribution block and did diffused illumination of the V logo which is embossed 8mm thick inside of the water channel. The machine also features a custom laser etched piece of artwork by Philip J Newman, an award winning tattoo artist containing the 3 main characters my friend has played across 20+ years of gaming together. Everything on the front side is Blue, Black, Carbon. Everything on the back is Black and Silver, giving the machine itself, a split personality. I’m a die hard exotic car fan so naturally I had to incorporate custom carbon fiber tubing as well as custom cabling, custom sleeving, a custom plate inside the rear wire management area, a custom logo plate on the pump cover, custom engraved rear back cover, and a modified custom Lian Li fan controller allowing me to control individual fans, and each individual RGB component separate. The cable combs are also a custom design to account for the 40 series signal wires in a more visually appealing package. The machine is truly breathtaking in person, and one of my favorite pieces of work yet. I hope you enjoy it community! -Veratu Specs: CPU - Intel 13900KS MB - Asus ROG Z790-I PSU - Asus Loki SFF 1000 Watt GPU - NVidia 4090 Founders Edition Memory - GSKill 32GB PC-6400 DDR5 Storage - 1TB and 2TB Western Digital SN850X Black Case - Lian Li O11 Mini Cooling: CPU - EKWB Velocity 2 GPU - EKWB Velocity 2 Pump - EKWB DDC Pump Cover - EKWB Quantum DDC Radiators - (2) EKWB Quantum Surface S360 Fittings - EKWB Torque Micro and Quantum Torque HDC Fans - (6) Lian Li SL 120 Infinity Series Additional: Custom distribution block with V logo embossed and illuminated Custom front glass laser etched artwork by Phil Newman, an award winning tattoo artist Custom RGB circuit board for lighting Custom blue Vs on the radiator ends Custom cabling and sleeving Custom wire management plate Custom rear back cover engraving Custom pump cover cap Custom carbon fiber tubing

This is my latest creation, pretty much the top of the line gaming PC for this generation. To be completely honest I do not game much anymore, I do not have much time for it, but I play League of Legends when I do (4090 is overkill haha). For the time being I mainly use this PC to do some light school work.

This build is the result of many, many case swaps and hardware changes due to my interests varying over time. I started off with the NR200P as my first SFF build, and I wanted to go smaller. I then swapped to the NZXT H1 due to its great price with how much you're getting. While I liked the size of the H1, I felt the need to switch back to the NR200P due to cooling being a limiting factor. After that, I managed to get a Meshlicious for free, and I swapped to it for a good while. I then swapped to a mid-tower build momentarily due to me getting some awesome deals for hardware, but in the end, I much prefer smaller builds. What prompted the switch from ATX is me getting an NCase M1 V6.1 for under $150. While the M1 is the smallest case I've owned up to this point, I wanted smaller. It was then that I managed to buy a black Dan A4 H20 with the Gen4 riser for just $80. That is what I'm settling with for some time. This is very much a gaming rig, but I also want it to be quiet to the point where I can hardly hear it. The new EK Nucleus 240mm AIO serves just that. It's a great cooler, but I do occasionally hear the pump for whatever reason. The fans are also relatively quiet, so I'm satisfied with noise. I've moved through several GPUs already, hoping that I'd settle with one. At the end, I'm using the Midnight Black Reference RX 6800XT. I definitely plan on upgrading to the 13600K so I can fully utilize the ram's speed. As for the games I play, it simply depends on what I feel like playing. Sometimes, I'll play FPS games, and other times I'll be playing more hard to run but "casual" games such as Doom Eternal, God of War, and the Spider-Man games.

I am a Ph.D Mechanical Engineer candidate and I anticipate the use of other demanding software to prototype/research additive manufacturing. I went with a custom loop and emphasized radiator surface area for quiet operations even under full load. A future upgrade I would do is get vented panels to maximize thermal efficiency. The only thing I wish I have done differently is to use a stronger pump solution with a reservoir for my loop.

Moving from a maximalist Threadripper + dual GPU setup down to a tiny SFF box that has more power than the original system, the Video Toaster got its name from the original case that oddly resembled the toaster in my kitchen in size, color, shape, and of course heat output. The name is also a throwback to a much loved Amiga accessory of old, and in true form I use the rig for some video editing work!
