Recently, my old system with an Intel i7-4790k and a GTX 1070ti broke down. I tried for 2 days but could not get it to boot pass window start up loading screen. It's because of that and how outdated it is of a system, I decided to upgrade to a new system. I mostly just doing some lite web browsing as well as doing spreadsheet and video calling. I used to game but since my PC couldn't keep up with the new games as well as life gotten busier I stopped gaming. However, with this new machine of a beast. Every game that I tested now can do well above 100fps with games that goes to the 200fps. So hopefully I can dive back into gaming soon. I went with and Ryzen 7 5800x and ROG Strix B550 motherboard as well as an Radeon RX 7800 XT with the NZXT H6 Flow housing. I know this doesn't have much of an upgrade ability beside from going to the 5800x3d and possibly better GPU however because I want an all-white esthetic and AM4 is the cheapest to go for it.$1,499.92 -

I strapped the tower to a wheeler so I can vacuum underneath it when I clean my room, it's not truly a mobile gaming PC haha. This build has been working great. It has a powerful CPU, GPU, and a huge 32 GB RAM. It's fast and responsive for gaming or work-related web browsing.$1,829.93 -

Started with my first trip to Microcenter in January 2020 when I built a full gaming. Mainly the ability to play casual games, perform regular tasks, but not exceed an absurd budget. Was upgrading an originally Intel/Nvidia gaming build from 2013 that can meet regular PC requirements in 2022. Last step is to purchase and install an RX 6800 XT to pair with the new AMD cpu. Mixture of parts that were salvaged from the previous build and parts purchased this year to bring the Budget Build into a more respectful up-to-date PC. With the budget prices I paid for the new parts, selling of old parts, and being able to salvage some old parts, I believe I accomplished the "Budget Build" name during the insane chip shortage era. GPU still in process.$2,242.60 -

My first custom built PC after upgrading from my last PC, an HP Omen pre-built. It wasn't a bad PC, but the amount of custom proprietary components in the system was a bit annoying and I wanted to upgrade either way. This PC runs games very well on my ultrawide monitor, so I am very happy with the results. Also, the case and it's overkill amount of fans looks pretty good, and keeps the system cool even under heavy load.$2,054.94 -
