When I was building my first computer I wanted something cheap sleek and could play games decently I wanted something that wouldn't stand out too much and it to blend into my minimalistic room and to show off my favorite color blue and I sort of achieve that with this computer. When I first got this computer I was excited to play My favorite game war thunder and rocket league plus vr games, but not now I'm working on video editing and I'm hoping one day I could upgrade my computer's ram, gpu and maybe cpu, with all of those upgrades it could help improve my gaming and editing, so that'swhy I'm here I'm sure I'm not going to win but might as well try and I hope you guys enjoy my PC. Thank you and have a great day/night

The purpose on why I built this PC/Setup, was because I needed something to use for school especially because of the virus that going on in the air. I also built it so that I could just have my own space in the house that I could relax in. Games I usually play are, Rainbow Six Siege, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Fall Guys, and Counter Strike. I can usually run two things at once with the help of the two Asus Monitors that I use. I usually have discord on monitor 1 and my game running on monitor 2. This setup is also great for watching things like Netflix or YouTube. I have flags that separate down the part of the basement where I have my so called man cave. Not to mention I have to have a 50 foot Ethernet cord that runs from the computer to a storage room that's also in the basement, and from there it runs up through the ceiling directing into the internet router of the house. I love detail and that's why i have so many things on my walls surrounding the setup just so it does not look so empty. Using things like flags, picture frames, basketball jerseys, scarves, hand drawn Mario, and my favorite, a diamond sword.

These three reasons is what I had in mind when building this computer. I began with a weak, 2010, iMac for gaming and work. Having a computer this strong is easily one of the biggest upgrades. I am able to run Modern Warfare, GTA 5, Valorant, and League of Legends at 150 - 200fps on 1080p. Work on the other hand is insane. I can handle so many computing applications while having my explore window open with absolutely no lag at all. Streaming is up and coming, I just need to bring an ethernet cable into my room because the wifi coverage is total buttcheeks. Overall, this computer was to completely upgrade from a 2010 iMac.

My son, Chuy, was an avid PS4 fortnite player until I proved him wrong that PC's are way better at gaming. We made a bet that if I built a "Gaming PC Rig" it would beat his PS4 loading times and have a higher resolution (1440p of course). Sure enough he's addicted to his new PC while the PS4 is now collecting dust. This was our first computer build together and could not find a better excuse than to drive to our closest Micro Center (2 hours away) to buy part by part. We have put a lot of work into it and cannot wait to upgrade to a 3080. PS5 my a**.

I built it this summer to do some gaming and help with my online classes. I mostly play eSport and AAA titles such as CSGO, R6:Siege, GTAV, Borderlands, Gears of War, and COD. The 2060 Super/Ryzen 3600 combo is amazing and runs almost any game at 1080p High settings with no problem and performs well at 1440p. I think it should be an amazing PC for the next few years but I may look to upgrade the storage down the line. Currently I only have a Seagate 2TB HDD and a 256GB Inland Premium M.2 SSD so I will probably add another 2TB HDD or a 1TB Samsung 2.5in SSD. I may also look to upgrade the AIO. The white H100i fits the color scheme amazingly but I really like the look of the LCD display on the NZXT Z63. I also might buy two more Corsair LL120 RGB fans to replace the stock NZXT fans I currently have mounted on the radiator.

I built it because I am a 3rd year college student and it was time to upgrade from my 500 dollar laptop. I play some games on it, it runs gta pretty well, I also played a free game team fortress two and it’s very smooth. I still have some cable management to do but I was in a bit of a time crunch so that will be my next task with it.

The reason I built this is because I thought it was the moment to change my environment learning, during my last one year and a half I would never imagine myself having wifi as we couldn't really get it but throughout time we got to save up and bought my first laptop I was so happy as I did not have to go to the library to use their computers and come home late anymore and get my mom worry but I always told her that I had to do my homework in why I achieved my first ever unweighted 4.0 GPA . When I would come home I need a place to work where I needed to sit down and focus and I had to use a party table and then felt so embarrassing about I put a blanket over it, the photo I took was back in school time when I shared this to my new girlfriend of how I organize my room but now during this summer during the whole pandemic we got a lot of support and help from the government in where I got enough money to get a new computer , my first ever desk, first ever, keyboard, mice and microphone and more etc. I would of never imagine I would have these set up of my own . In the beginning I had to do research of what desktop I wanted and I wanted to play games on it also so I went for a gaming pc and my mom said alright then and then I never knew the whole pc commmunity was hugggee, I wanted a pre built because straight off the bat I just wanted it now cause we had the money but in youtube everyone does this custom build and comments telling everyone to build your own and so I went for it and went to Tustin Micro Center which was huge I never knew there was a store that big just for computer parts and everything almost like best buy. Those people were very helpful and looked all professional with their nice suits . Overall I am really grateful I always had everything I needed to be succesful towards my learning in school but this is something else more and something nice to have, I still believe I can succeed with just a chromebook or a $1200 custom build during this time as I am taking school online but if I were to upgrade I would upgrade my fans for fans that have rgb, not sure what else I need. . I also added a whiteboard above to set myself reminders.

I saved up enough money from my summer job for a pc for gaming and everyday use. I play games like COD, Warzone, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Sea of Thieves. I went for a build that was powerful enough to handle all my games with ease and future proof the PC for a bit. I tried not to overkill it with the components. Some future upgrades would be maybe adding some more storage as games like warzone take up a ton of storage, and maybe add some cable extensions for an even cleaner look.

This was built for my son for light gaming duty during this stay at home time. He is currently playing Sea of Thieves and Minecraft. We raided our PS4 to get an SSD for this build which allowed us to save a bit which we put back into getting a better power supply. We don't have any future upgrades planned to the desktop itself as of this time. My son is pretty happy with it. We might add a monitor as right now it's connected to a 1080p 37" TV. No complaints from my son but I think that area can get better. Other than that, I know he'd like a proper desk and a nice chair.

This story goes back to 2019 when I had a constantly revolving wish list of parts for most of the year as my PC at the time was a budget build from 2014 with a GTX 650 and i3 3rd gen. Gaming wasnt horrible as long as i played on medium to low settings or alternatively played on lower resolutions. Eventually I got tired of it and after graduating college and working a year or two I decided it was time to upgrade. Febuary 2nd 2020, I decide to pull the trigger and made an afternoon trip to MicroCenter and came back with this $1000 build and assembled it before dinner. I added an M.2 SSD as well from amazon to the build. This computer is easily 10 times better than the former one. Across multiple seasonal Steam sales i had bought the Borderlands series, the Bioshock series, the Witcher series, Dishonored 1 and 2, and the Darksouls series but never got to enjoy lag free gaming experience... until now! This gaming build coupled with a 144hz Freesync monitor has changed everything to say the least. I did my best to OC as much as I could but I was unable to get past 3200mhz ram speed on my 3666mhz DIMMs and a CPU clock of 4ghz. If i had more budget i would have gone with 4 channel ram setup and a AIO cooler to avoid the heating up my room so much. Regardless, now I can finally play Minecraft with fancy graphics in peace once and for all.
