Sometimes my BF likes to play CS GO 2 and Fortnite. I like the compact size of the case and the only mirror issue is noticeable noise from GPU fans when playing games. Most of the parts were purchased from Micro Center, GPU, CPU, and SSD a year ago. Case and PSU last month.$761.95 -

The total build cost excluding the monitor is around $1,250. This setup can run recent releases in 4K with reasonable FPS! In Baldurs Gate 3, I was able to get constant 100+ FPS in a 4K ultra DLSS graphic setting. 180+ FPS can also be achieved in 2K resolution.$1,247.94 -

I built this computer as my first ever build so that I could finally play pcvr games on a tighter budget. This build has a lot of price to performance potential and I am really satisfied with that aspect. While the aesthetic is lacking the performance cannot be argued with and this is a very solid price to performance semi-budget build.$809.92 -

I built this pc because I wanted a small portable gaming system that can fit in my backpack. It allows me to take the pc on the go and play games at a friend's house or at a hotel. The only game I played so far on it is Yakuza 0 and it runs great at 60fps considering I am only using the AMD integrated graphics. The case I bought has space for a single slot graphics card, so I plan on purchasing a rx 6400 or gtx 1650 in the future to play more modern games.$449.93 -

I build this desktop out of components that were no longer being used by a family memeber. I had a Ryzen processor (without cooler), motherboard, and graphics card all available to me to start out with. I then purchased the missing pieces bit by bit (at very low acquisition cost) until I had everything I needed to put this build together. I guess one thing I would do a little bit differently - if I had the opportunity to go back and make purchases all over again - is to piece together different components specifically with a uniform RGB aesthetic in mind. For example. I really like how setting pink RGB looks inside my white case. However it irritates me a little bit to see my CPU cooler fan stuck on a red color that I cannot change.$381.93 -

I acquired a non-functioning gaming PC from a local market, initially built by someone looking to sell it. Although correctly assembled and occasionally booting into Windows, the PC was plagued with issues, frequently crashing with blue screen errors, primarily page fault errors. This suggested a memory problem. Despite attempts like reformatting the installation drive, the solution ultimately involved replacing the memory. However, during the troubleshooting process, I also upgraded the cooler, increased the storage, and thoroughly cleaned the system. Any of these changes, alone or in combination, might have contributed to stabilizing the PC. After these modifications, the PC evolved into a custom build. Primarily intended for gaming, this project was a successful venture to fix a broken PC for a friend. To assure its performance and stability, I conducted several stress tests, including prime95, furmark, OCCT, and 3dmark. The system maintained favorable temperatures, even with a modestly priced cooler. Future upgrades might include a larger cooler, possibly the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE. Performance-wise, the PC excels in running games like Valorant, League of Legends, and Overwatch, even during multitasking with Discord, screen sharing, and Chrome running simultaneously. It reliably supports most games at medium to high settings on 1080p144 without any freezing or stuttering. Overall, this endeavor of repairing and upgrading the PC proved to be a rewarding and successful one.$899.93 -

I use my computer for playing Counter-Strike, statistical computing, watching streams on twitch, youtube videos, movies, and tv shows. My computer is like the Ship of Theseus in that I have slowly upgraded the parts from my original PC that I built in 2012, though nothing of the original remains. My original computer is now used for NAS Storage, the highlight of that build was the 7950 HD graphics card which performed admirably for years. In the future, I'd like to upgrade the CPU to a CPU with higher core count Ryzen 7, but my upgrades are infrequent, I had my previous computer for 10 years before I began making upgrades. If I were to upgrade to a new platform I would switch to a mini-itx form factor, though the high cost of mini-itx parts is holding me back.$1,437.87 -
