I built this as a new personal PC build since I sold my old personal build recently. I use it to play games like Minecraft, Genshin, League, Valorant, etc., and use it for CAD projects. If I were to do things differently I would've gotten the white version of the graphics card but nonetheless the PC has satisfied my expectations. I also only paid around $500 for the system which satisfies my budget expectations.$514.99 -

This is a general purpose computer that can handle light gaming at 1440p. It started life as a pre-built CyberPowerPC that I bought in late 2017. I reused the case, motherboard, PSU, and CPU cooler (that I had previously upgraded) and got new graphics card, SSD, CPU and RAM.$600.03 -

With the AM4 platform, there is always room to upgrade but for what I need it for, this is all I need it for. The 5600 is more than enough for simple gaming and general use of the PC. RX 6700 is enough for me to play most games in 1080p 30-60fps.$679.98 -

I like old-school tech, tinkering, and trying to make things work that don't make sense. So, I took an old Compaq Presario 4090US Internet PC case, gutted it, chopped away some of the metal on the back, and squeezed modern parts into it. Well, mostly. The system is a fully-functional modern computer, though for extra fun, I've Hackintoshed it to run macOS Monterey. Even though it's running the latest macOS release (as of this writing), it's still got old-school charms: I've got a working floppy drive and optical drive inside of it. Was even able to use the original power LEDs! The only real trouble was finding where to put the power supply, as the case was designed for a proprietary sized PSU. Right now, I'm just using double-sided mounting tape to stick it to the bottom of the case. Hey, it works! :D For comparison, this computer originally had 128MB RAM, a 30GB hard drive, an 800MHz Celeron, and ran Windows ME.$684.94 -

Sometimes my BF likes to play CS GO 2 and Fortnite. I like the compact size of the case and the only mirror issue is noticeable noise from GPU fans when playing games. Most of the parts were purchased from Micro Center, GPU, CPU, and SSD a year ago. Case and PSU last month.$761.95 -

Went with Micro ATX form factor and single color RGB fans for simplicity. AMD processor with AMD graphic card is a plus. Sticked to standard 16GB RAM and 1TB NVMe and didn't go crazy with specs. No case mod cables as well but still looks good with neat cable management.$845.95 -

I've been playing on a 10 year PC with a RX 290 on a 60 Hz monitor with dead pixels, so this is a huge upgrade for gaming experience. I am also planning on helping a friend put together a podcast, so some light media processing. In addition, I will continue to do programming and signal processing work, now much faster and easier.$893.93 -

Meant to be a gaming rig/workstation to serve as a replacement for my old college laptop as I go off into the world. So far, I'm catching up on older titles I've been missing out on (Tomb Raider, Dark Souls, Doom, etc.), but I'm hoping to be able to run newer games like HZD and GotG without much trouble. Should be a perfect size though as I'll be moving around the country quite a bit.$930.82 -

Had a budget of around $800, and got a SUPER SOLID rig. Micro center had great deals with their bundles and got a killer deal! I wanted to go for something that was modestly priced, that would be able to handle any current game that you throw at it as well as perform efficiently when using CAD software and Game dev engines. My last build was a couple years back and was a very cheap $300 build that was fine for the first two years but then couldn't run your more demanding games and so I wanted to future proof my build for the next 5 years$1,033.93
