My brother has fallen on some legit tough times medically and will be staying with me for a while. I had always wanted to do a water cool build, so I figured why not build this with him so he will have a pc to play on while here with me. Nothing better to bond siblings than gaming!$2,079.91 -

It was my first gaming computer. It has had a number of different configurations in it since then. It started with an AMD FX-6100 and a GTX 650 Ti, then was upgraded to a GTX 970 in 2015. At some point I switched the motherboard, CPU and RAM to some components I got from college which consisted of an Intel i5 8gb of RAM and an Asus motherboard. In 2020 I upgraded the GPU again to an RTX 2080 Super and put in a new power supply to handle it. In 2021 I upgraded the motherboard to a Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite, the CPU to a Ryzen 7 3700X and put in 32gb of DDR4 RAM. In 2022 I upgraded the GPU to an RTX 3070 Ti and also upgraded the power supply to an EVGA 850 B5. I've been using the same case since I got it in 2012 but I am thinking of getting a new one that supports liquid cooling better.$1,150.95 -

I built this gaming rig in 2020 to treat myself after using a MacBook pro for 7 years while in pharmacy school. Used computer to complete multiple pharmacy residency projects. On the side got back into playing some of my favorite games such as .hack GU. After I finished 2 years of residency and had a bit more free time to explore new games such as back for blood and table top simulator with friends. I'm hoping to explore new games with amazing graphics in the future$1,804.48 -

I built this PC when I graduated university and I wanted to treat myself for being the first in the family to finish school. All 4 years of school I used a laptop to do my work and play games so once I graduated I knew getting a PC is something affordable and would bring me many years of joy! I currently use this desktop to draw CAD models, watch videos, and play games such as Valorant, League of Legends, and Halo Infinite. I love my build mainly because I customized it myself. I envied the all white minimalist desktop look and I'm glad I was able to achieve that. Something I wish I fixed is my cable management. My best friend and I built our desktops at 3AM and I was so excited to use the desktop i told myself I will fix it when I get the chance... a year and a half went by and the cables are still the same XD.$1,303.92 -

This is my first ever PC build, that originally had an MSI 2070 super right before the GPU shortage. I was then lucky enough to upgrade just weeks after the 3070 launch, and was somehow lucky enough to get the Gigabyte Vision series graphics card to perfectly compliment my all white build. I’ve also always loved Formula 1 Racing, and since I now built my first ever PC I’m able to enjoy it even more with a Thrustmaster T300. I am in college, so this PC is more than good enough for all around everyday use, and amazing for high refresh rate gaming at 1440p. #BitWit$2,169.90 -

My PC is a gaming PC with a little bit of streaming and school work in mind while picking out the parts. I mainly play Rocket League but when I need a break from the game, I play Call of Duty: Cold War, and a little bit of Valorant. There aren't too many games I play with being on my college's Rocket League roster. I am also a content creator on Twitch and am going to school to be a content creator for my college. When I am not gaming, I am using this computer as my computer, whether it is doing school work, watching YouTube or twitch, or just surfing the web. As for upgrades, I would definitely upgrade my GPU when I get the chance and money. When I went to get my parts, back in late October 2020, my GPU of choice, NVidia GeForce RTX 2070, was out of stock, so I went with AMD Radeon 5700 XT. I would love to upgrade to one of the RTX 30 series but I am content with my PC's performance as of now. *disclaimer: while putting together my parts list for this showcase, I could not find my current GPU, it only has the GPU I planned on using*$2,218.06 -

However, this is now turned into my daily PC (still use my MacBook Pro tho) and I'm trying to get better at FPS with keyboard and mouse....Its definitely going to take some time haha I decided to opt out on the NZXT Liquid Cool and save $250...I'm debating if liquid cooling is really necessary as my PC is constantly running around 50*. I am also thinking about increasing the RAM another 32 GB, but that's a little unnecessary$1,767.89 -

I'm an Instructional Technology Specialist who uses multiple video and graphics programs simultaneously. When we moved home to work, my old laptop could just not keep up with my normal workload. This PC was built with no specific purpose other than do anything my busy mind decides to focus on at any moment. I do business, photography, gaming, video editing, streaming and race sim / vr all from this bad boy. Slowly upgrading parts over time allows me to stay on top of the trends but I think I found a point where an upgrade isn't necessary (unless 3080s become easily in stock) I'll try to get better pictures later lol$1,166.94 -

So I thought ryzen 5 3600 + 16gb ram would be sufficient enough, and I also spent a considerable amount of budget to buy a good 500gb SSD, and a nice set of game keyboards & mouse. Also, I occasionally enjoy games that do not require high quality graphics (minecraft, some steam games, etc), so I chose radeon rx 570 for my video cards. I also need to run some research program like matlab, mathematica, and they run totally fine. For bad part, It would have been better if I chose smaller case. My case seems too big and heavy. The other bad part, when I turn the power on, there is a 5 second lag until motherboard starts to operate. I'm not sure about this issue, but it doesn't bug me too much because once turned on, it is fast enough.$716.91
