I built this over the course of 5 months finding parts on sale. Performance-wise, this handles 4K 120Hz on everything I've thrown at it. Only times I scale back quality in games is if the GPU kicks up its coil whine a bit too much. Really stable FPS and benchmarking. Solid machine that should last years at High-Ultra in games. Mixed with 24GB VRAM being a productivity monster. Happy with the end result but I would have done a few things differently. An i7-14700K would have been a nice upgrade, but unnecessary for my use case. A bigger change would be opting for 2x32GB of RAM and/or slightly higher-spec'ed RAM (like 6000 CL30 or 6400 CL32). Aesthetically, I'm really happy with how the silver CPU cooler and tan Noctua fans look through the mesh side panel. If everything was black, you wouldn't notice any components inside and the silver+tan give it a subtle "pop" of character. But, if you're more into RGB than I am than going black on all components will be a nicer look and let your RGB shine.$2,929.90 -

This is hopefully the final iteration/form of my gaming rig, built primarily for the purpose of sim racing but also gaming in general. I play iRacing, Forza, Call of Duty and many others. Also do some streaming occasionally when I'm doing a major endurance race in iRacing. My only future upgrade plan is to possibly move up to a 4090 if price and availability cooperates.$4,317.95 -

The purpose of this PC is for general school work and also streaming any movies in my room. I also like using it for gaming with my friends whenever I want to play Warzone. After years of looking at people posting their builds on Reddit and here I finally decided to attempt a build myself. At the time I built this Microcenter was having a sale (bundle on CPU, MOBO, and RAM) so thought why not. My budget was 1500 and the bundle helped me save about 300. I mostly play MMORPGs, so that's what this build is used for (Archeage, D4, etc). I was planning to build this closer to the release of Ashes of Creation but that deal kinda sealed it for me.$1,482.90 -

The main goal of this build was to get a high-performance gaming experience while still being extremely capable of running intense productivity workloads. Since my last build was also extremely loud with 12+ fans in the Antec LanBoy Air case, I set out to build something that would be significantly quieter while gaming and succeeded. This system is also intended to be ultra reliable, requiring only periodic dusting for maintenance, and highly upgradeable over the next few years as needed. This build ended up going a completely different direction from the i9-13900K and Z790 Maximus Hero that I originally purchased, but I have to say that I've been extremely happy with it even though I've always been an Intel fan.$3,607.89 -
