I've always wanted a completely overkill build for what I do, so once I got my hands on everything that's exactly what I did. I use this to play Dead Island, Ghostwire Tokyo, Guilty Gear Strive, Elden Ring, 7 days to die, For Honor, Muck, Monster Hunter World, Deep Rock Galactic, Sea of Thieves, and some emulators. What would I have done differently? I think what I should've done differently is kept all my old parts instead of selling them to make a whole other build. I swap between a Sapphire 6800xt, and the ASUS x Noctua 3080 depending on what I'm playing. Having 14 Thermaltake Riing Quad fans in this almost cost me as much as the case itself, and I probably should've gotten a bit cheaper fans but oh well. But right now I am happy with what I have, it's not the best in cable management, nor is it the heaviest hitter in the rest of the showcase, but it does everything I need it to.$3,184.89 -

I wanted to build an all white PC for myself from so long. I am a huge fan of small form factor. I wanted the PC to occupy less space but don't want to compromise on cooling. This SFX case from Jonsbo made it possible. It is not a very popular case and I wanted it for that reason. Ordered in from Aliexpress and waited for decent time. Apart from the case all other parts are best in the class. 5800X3d launched at the right time. Added white case mod cables and white fans from Arcitic. Added an after market plate for the Noctua cooler. Actually I went with the cooler as there are after market parts available for this one. Very happy with it and should serve my streaming and design work for quite some time.$2,643.95 -

I originally built this PC when I was in college for online homework and some light gaming. It started as an i7-6700k, GTX1070, and 16GB of RAM. Over the years I have upgraded through various sales towards a more gaming oriented system that is “future proof”$3,185.87 -

Built this puppy through parts from my local Micro Center in conjunction with r/hardwareswap. I’ve always wanted to do a custom watercooling build and saw that O11 Kit from Bitspower via Micro Center as a great starting point. I mainly use the rig for gaming valorant (top 500 NA woop) and then also some apex on the side. Definitely way overkill for these lighter FPS titles, but I knew I wanted to go all out team red nonetheless.$3,888.90
