Built this PC because I was guilted by my friends to play Hell Divers II. My wife also needed a PC to do our taxes on every year. The goal was mild future proofing (the GPU is my Bottleneck) and escalated quite a bit from the original build scope thanks to the Ryzen 7 7700x bundle. I am able to play games at 1440 on high settings and 1080 ultra settings at a minimum of 65-80 fps. The original purpose was just to have a racing sim rig. This is the first pc I have even worked on, I assembled/built myself in an afternoon.$1,124.94 -

Sometimes my BF likes to play CS GO 2 and Fortnite. I like the compact size of the case and the only mirror issue is noticeable noise from GPU fans when playing games. Most of the parts were purchased from Micro Center, GPU, CPU, and SSD a year ago. Case and PSU last month.$761.95 -

Played on a gaming laptop until it broke, so I decided to build my own computer for school and game. Was originally going to get a 5600X3D bundle to save money. I figured that I should just spend a bit more money for the 7700x to have AM5 instead of AM4 for future proofing.$889.94 -

After years of looking at people posting their builds on Reddit and here I finally decided to attempt a build myself. At the time I built this Microcenter was having a sale (bundle on CPU, MOBO, and RAM) so thought why not. My budget was 1500 and the bundle helped me save about 300. I mostly play MMORPGs, so that's what this build is used for (Archeage, D4, etc). I was planning to build this closer to the release of Ashes of Creation but that deal kinda sealed it for me.$1,482.90 -

I built this PC for gaming because of the parts that I picked and this PC has came a long way with me and I am very happy and grateful for having this with me for future upgrades I might upgrade my CPU to a Ryzen 9 7800x and the motherboard to get the maximum performance I can get. I saved tons by buying RAM, cooling, and CPU used online. I also managed to find an Aorus Master for $110, which was a steal, even though it doesn’t have CPU OCing. I didn’t want to go too crazy with RGB, but when you keep your lighting at white, blue, and purple, it looks pretty slick, and not like something a 10-year-old drew. I haven’t gotten three of the fans yet, but my temps are honestly doing just fine without them, and I love the NZXT cooling, because it keeps my temps low without being too loud. I’ve been using this for CAD, some 4K gaming at relatively high settings(the GPU is doing fine), programming(hence the i9 and 32GB of RAM), and work/online school. No problems, except that I was considering going for the pricier 6950(which is $200 more expensive, but has 150% the performance of the 6750), and I might eventually upgrade my GPU. Also, the SSD is the slowest m.2 SSD on the market, but it’s still faster than most HDDs, and it was $30. If I were to do it again, I would go for a Samsung SSD for maybe $60, with much better performance. I don’t mind the SSD too much, though.$1,397.91 -
