This is a gaming PC I built for a friend that I ended up keeping as a side rig mainly when friends visit or for other family members to do office work. I tried to obtain parts as cheaply as possible and took advantage of Microcenter's great open box deals. Got really lucky that I had upgraded my GPU before the pandemic situation.$741.95 -

I built this because my old laptop could not run any modern games and even struggled with chrome. I build this mainly as a gaming PC but it is also used for work from school. The one thing I might have done better in hindsight is to get custom white sleeved cables to match the look more. Games that I play are rocket league, GTA 5, Star Citizen, Space Engineers, Subnatica and some smaller games like geometry dash and super meat boy. First PC I've ever built.$859.93 -

I just turned 13 and this is what I picked out for my birthday. I built this system because now I am the legal age to stream and make content. In the future I plan to stream games like Fortnite, c-o-d, Warzone, Minecraft, and Valorant to make people happy. I have got all of my content platforms up and ready with my chosen name of NotLuqy. I entered this contest because I feel that this is a good chance to show people my creation and somehow if I win this will help me buy the streaming gear needed to make my content more professional. If I could change one thing about this build it would be to put more white in it. I feel that just the ram being white is not enough for my black and white system.$867.94 -

This story goes back to 2019 when I had a constantly revolving wish list of parts for most of the year as my PC at the time was a budget build from 2014 with a GTX 650 and i3 3rd gen. Gaming wasnt horrible as long as i played on medium to low settings or alternatively played on lower resolutions. Eventually I got tired of it and after graduating college and working a year or two I decided it was time to upgrade. Febuary 2nd 2020, I decide to pull the trigger and made an afternoon trip to MicroCenter and came back with this $1000 build and assembled it before dinner. I added an M.2 SSD as well from amazon to the build. This computer is easily 10 times better than the former one. Across multiple seasonal Steam sales i had bought the Borderlands series, the Bioshock series, the Witcher series, Dishonored 1 and 2, and the Darksouls series but never got to enjoy lag free gaming experience... until now! This gaming build coupled with a 144hz Freesync monitor has changed everything to say the least. I did my best to OC as much as I could but I was unable to get past 3200mhz ram speed on my 3666mhz DIMMs and a CPU clock of 4ghz. If i had more budget i would have gone with 4 channel ram setup and a AIO cooler to avoid the heating up my room so much. Regardless, now I can finally play Minecraft with fancy graphics in peace once and for all.$977.93 -

This is my first PC build ever, and I absolutely love it. Had a lot of problems at first, which were caused by a faulty motherboard, so i returned it and picked up the oh so reliable b450-f. I play a variety of genres (mostly shooters, but i also enjoy sports games), and it runs all of my games at 100+ fps. I have been playing a lot of SkaterXL recently, after it was fully released on the 28th, and it runs great on high settings (1080p). Playing a lot of valorant with friends, and, although my aim is questionable, the frames are definitely not. Consistent 200+ fps on high settings. This build has no problems running any game that i throw at it. Really great at frying noobs, as stated in the name. Next thing I am looking to upgrade would probably be the CPU. I want to upgrade to Ryzen 7 to get those extra cores, because more cores=more betterer. After the CPU, I would probably look to a 2070 super or a 3000 series card if they release soon.$1,077.91 -
