I build this PC mostly for gaming but also to serve whatever other purposes I may need it for in the future. I mostly play FPS games like Call of Duty, Halo, CS, Apex, and Valorant. However, I also am a big Rocket League and Minecraft player. Right now i’m playing Starfield because I got a free copy thanks to AMD and Microcenter! In the future, I may try to create some youtube vids of my gameplay but we will see. I feel as though my build has been working very good so far, but my first upgrade will probably be a new CPU cooler because the 7800x3d seems to idle a bit hot. (My temps are matching up with other builds I see online). I’ll probably pick up a new mouse and maybe keyboard for a cheap upgrade too.$1,924.87 -

Gaming rig, mainly for League/Valorant, and single player campaign games like the Batman Arkham series and assassins' creed series. Planning to have fun with Diablo 4, Hogwarts Legacy, both Marvel's Spiderman games and the upcoming AC Mirage. The main idea was to get as much performance into a 1500 budget as possible, hence the fact that i got almost every part on a sale, or price matched at micro center.$1,738.92 -

In addition to this being a fairly basic gaming build, I decided to dress up the case slightly to both address some "engineering issues" and also make it look cool. These included: 1) A graphics card riser bracket from EZDIY. This bracket allows the graphics card to sit vertically, or angled, instead of hanging off the motherboard and rear case bracket. It completely alleviates the issues with stress on the PCIe slot retention tang that has plagued so many 4070 card models. The bracket also has a 12-LED aRGB strip built into the base. It is firmly anchored to the power supply shroud via two magnets on the base of the bracket. 2) A 90° ATX power connector adapter, also from EZDIY. This allows the ATX 24-pin motherboard power cable to attach to the side of the board, instead of directly into it. This makes the connection look a bit cleaner, and with an aRGB element in the adapter it's another lighting element for the build. 3) A 90° power adapter cable for the 4070Ti graphics card - again, addressing an aesthetic problem (cables coming straight out of the card) and an nVidia design flaw (there is no stress on the cable that could cause flaky behavior later on with the under-engineered 4070Ti power tap). 4) A 7" monitor board for a Raspberry Pi enclosure. This being USB-powered and HDMI input, it connects up to the graphics card via HDMI, and is powered when the system has power (go into BIOS to ensure that the USB ports are unpowered with the system in soft-off state). In Windows it comes up as a second monitor. I used AIDA64 to build a custom status panel, and Stable Diffusion to generate a background image, establishing a theme for the build as well as provide real-time monitoring of temperatures, fan speeds, disk space, and so forth. 5) A Transformers "Decepticon" chrome car medallion, affixed to 3M magnetic strips and stuck to the Big Empty Space at the front of the case backplane. Gotchas: The Antec DF800 Flux midtower is a bit cramped when it comes to cable management, especially if you're using a custom set of cables. Route from the components to the PS, and use the empty (!) drive bay to loop extra lengths of cable. I strongly recommend attaching the motherboard power cables (ATX 24-pin AND CPU 8-pin) before putting the motherboard into the case, otherwise it's a matter of sticking fingers into tiny crevices and hoping you got the connector lined up right! Attaching the 7" Raspberry Pi monitor board was a bit of a headscratcher, but I managed to bolt it to the back of the case using some spare CPU standoffs, hex nuts, and drive mount screws, after removing the stock rear case fan. Lastly, if your board has heatsink shrouds for your M.2 drives... don't order any with integral heatsinks. They'll cost more than the bare SSD's and get in the way of those spiffy shrouds. Thankfully the ASUS TUF board has an M.2 slot that's out in the open, hidden behind the graphics card riser bracket. This build took about a week to finalize (always issues!) but the finished product is something to be proud of, I think. Needed a new Desktop to replace my aging i7-4930k, that was starting to get seriously bottle necked. Even running with an RTX 3080ti Gaming was not the greatest and relying on a RAID 0 of SSD's was a disaster waiting to happen. Started with a Case that I liked and then picked out the top line CPU and Motherboard Combo. Just so happens that everything was in the ASUS TuF line of products so that became the theme for the build.$2,664.66 -

Something I really should have checked was what connections my motherboard had before picking some of the things I did. I can't use the USB-C connection on my case or the argb on the heatsink fan. Not the biggest deal. And those are things that will outlive my MB so I'll eventually get to use them.$1,659.95 -

I think black and white looks best, best of both worlds. i love the way it came out! so im pretty sure you'll love it as well. and about the cooler, there was a slight hiccup I had when installing it the first time that I didn't know about. there is a side of the cooler than is taller than the other. meaning you won't be able to put fans on top. so, make sure you get the correct/shorter side facing UP.$1,871.23 -

With inspirations taken from the Corsair Vengeance pre-built PC lineup, I decided to not take any compromises on hardware parts. The games I had in mind when building this PC were Microsoft Flight Simulator and Forza Horizon 5. Both of these games ran flawlessly, easily exceeding over 144 FPS in ultra settings in 1440p. I intend to keep this PC for the long run as I will keep upgrading it throughout it's lifetime. Some parts I do plan on upgrading when I want to switch over to high-end 4K gaming in the future are faster RAM and GPU. The build process was easy and I didn't run into any difficulties as this is my first PC build ever. Overall, this PC has exceeded my expectations when it comes to gaming from FPS, simulations, to racing games.$2,598.88 -

After building my first rig, I was headfirst into the world of PC building. I didn't know my next gaming computer was going to be a space heater though. This build I went for the all white with silver finish aesthetic, and it came out better than I expected. Although it was a bit nerve wracking to troubleshoot the overheating cpu, it was a really enjoyable experience. I use the computer mainly for gaming, I enjoy playing hyper realistic simulation games like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, Forza Horizon 5, and PC building simulator 2 (yes when I said I went headfirst into PC building I meant it), and some other games that this computer is too powerful for. One upgrade I definitely need to consider is getting more storage, because nowadays games somehow manage to take up half an ssd.$2,239.59 -
