I built this for mostly gaming but I also plan on doing school work on it. It would be best for 1080p but I use a 1440p monitor but it still does really well with it. I kind of wish i would have got a 2070 super but the 2060 S works just fine. So far I've been able to run every single game I play on the highest settings. On cod mw I usually get an average of 80 fps which is fine because I used to be a 60 fps ps4 player. I also play GTA V, CSGO which stays on my 144 fps limiter the whole time, scrap mechanic, and beamng drive. On the easier games to run like beamng and scrap mechanic I usually stay right around 144 fps. I overclocked my gpu by about 5% I sometimes do 10% which games that can handle it. I plan on upgrading my graphics card and possibly my CPU in a few years. I wish they would have made it so you could use more than one graphics card so I wouldn't have to worry about selling my old graphics card and I could use the old graphics card plus the new one to make it super powerful. I am pretty happy with my first time build and it should be good a few years some crazy titles come out.

I built this specifically to handle all video editing and gaming, as well as to have a PC that measured up to my mechanical keyboard and peripherals obsession. I play primarily single player RPGs, and also have to create a good amount of video content for work. I needed something that could handle relatively serious gaming applications as well as the most demanding scenarios Adobe has to offer, and this has been up to the task in absolutely every area. I've also recently discovered the joy that is Moonlight streaming on a hacked Switch, so now I'm able to play PC games on the go without having to purchase a Steam Deck. Next up is modifying my 3D Printer so that I'm able to stop/start/pause/monitor prints both from my PC and on the go. I continue to find new use cases for every hobby I take up, and generally the common thread is needing an adequately powerful PC to run everything. This thing overperforms every single time.

Originally built this so my previous rig could go to my girlfriend since the old build I did for her finally ceased to work. Looking into possibly streaming, but I just wanted to be able to do 1440p gaming at high to ultra settings and stick with air cooling. Entertaining the idea of upgrading the GPU at some point but for the time being a 2060 Super will more than suffice, especially after trying out two 5700 XTs that gave me absolutely nothing but issues and headaches. May also look into getting a different PSU when the shortages end.

The customer chose these specific parts to meet his requirements for gaming and coding with cost. He decided to build instead of get a prebuilt as he liked the ability to customize the entire build. He will be playing PUBG, FIFA and Rainbow 6 Siege. He is expecting about 100 fps on high settings.

I gamed on a Nvidia 1060 laptop setup for 3+ years w/ hdmi out to a 24" 60hz 24" monitor, and I gamed it into the ground (almost, it just needs new fans and thermals). This bundle came along and I couldn't wait any longer! I'm glad I didn't, its been exactly what I wanted and more. I've been able to go back and play games that I couldn't truly enjoy before, and anyway that I can extend the life of my game library I will. I've been getting into overclocking a little bit and its incredibly addictive but I've learned a lot about the relationship and eco system of all the parts and the best combinations for different games and use cases.

I've been wanting to free up some space on my desk but hadn't found an ITX case that I liked until MicroCenter came through with the Thermaltake Tower 100. Once I brought it home and mounted a B450I Aorus Pro motherboard inside, I moved my Ryzen 5 5600x and EVGA 3070 Ti FTW3 into this case. I also took the opportunity to upgrade my RAM to some G.Skill Trident Z Neo modules. I play Rocket League and Rainbow Six Siege online, but my best experience has come from playing AAA games in 1440p with this machine, such as Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and Watch Dogs Legion. Temperatures are generally good in this case. The CPU runs the hottest with the Corsair 120 AIO I have in it. In the future, I may swap it out for a be quiet! air cooler.
