In the bustling town where I grew up, there weren't many options for computer enthusiasts like me. Sure, there were a handful of small computer shops scattered around, each offering a mishmash of components, but none could compare to the tech haven that is Microcenter. My journey into the world of building PCs began amidst these humble surroundings. Armed with determination and a modest budget, I scoured the shelves of these local stores, piecing together my first rig. It wasn't perfect, but it was mine—a testament to my budding passion for all things tech. As I tinkered with my creation, learning the ins and outs of hardware assembly, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more out there, something beyond the limitations of my small town's offerings. That something turned out to be Microcenter. The first time I set foot in that gleaming megastore, I felt like a kid in a candy shop. Row upon row of pristine components stretched out before me, gleaming under the fluorescent lights. It was a paradise for any PC enthusiast, with shelves stocked high with the latest processors, graphics cards, and peripherals. But it wasn't just the sheer variety of products that captivated me—it was the expertise of the staff. Unlike the often clueless employees at the local shops, the Microcenter team were true professionals, eager to share their knowledge and offer advice on even the most obscure tech questions. Armed with the resources of Microcenter and the guidance of its knowledgeable staff, I embarked on my next build with newfound confidence. Gone were the days of settling for "okay" parts; now, I had access to the best of the best. With their help, I carefully selected each component, ensuring that my new rig would be a masterpiece of performance and reliability. As I sat back and admired my completed build, I couldn't help but marvel at how far I'd come. From humble beginnings in those small-town computer shops to the pinnacle of PC building excellence at Microcenter, my journey had been nothing short of extraordinary. And as I powered up my new rig for the first time, I knew that the best was yet to come. At its core lay the beating heart of my creation, the Intel i7 8700k, a processor as reliable as it was powerful. With its six cores and twelve threads, it was the engine that drove my digital adventures, powering through the most demanding of tasks with ease. Surrounding it, like loyal soldiers standing guard, were 32GB of RAM, a veritable army of memory, ready to tackle any challenge I threw their way. And nestled snugly within the belly of the beast was a lightning-fast 1TB SSD, its silent whispers promising swift load times and snappy system responsiveness. But it was the crown jewel of my rig—the RTX 2070 SUPER GPU—that truly set it apart. With its ray-tracing prowess and blistering rendering speeds, it transformed every pixel into a masterpiece, bringing my virtual worlds to life with unparalleled beauty and realism. Together, we embarked on a journey unlike any other, a journey into the heart of gaming and streaming glory. From the darkest dungeons to the farthest reaches of outer space, we traversed virtual landscapes with skill and determination, our every triumph and defeat broadcast to an eager audience of fellow adventurers. But it wasn't just about the games—it was about the connection. With my powerful rig, I streamed in crystal-clear HD, my every word and gesture captured with stunning clarity. And as I interacted with my viewers, sharing stories and swapping strategies, I felt a sense of camaraderie unlike anything I'd ever known.$886.96 -

This time around I decided to go AMD instead of my usual Intel/Nvidia build. The pc is used to play @1440p 165hz and I’d say paired up with a Sapphire Nitro+ 7900xtx, it can easily achieve that.$2,279.92 -

I wanted to create a high-end gaming PC that would leave even the most serious gamers, streamers, and simulators in awe. The sleek white design with the custom Corsair Water Loop gives it a sophisticated look. And let's not forget the stunning Lian Li Strimer Plus RGB extension cables that add a touch of brilliance to the setup. But the real showstopper is the white Radeon RX 7900xtx Hellhound Spectral, which truly completes the aesthetic. Its power and performance are unmatched, delivering an immersive gaming experience like no other. To make this PC not just a powerhouse but also a work of art, I opted for the 128GB G Skill z5 Trident Memory. This not only ensures lightning-fast speeds but also adds a touch of elegance to the overall design. From its impressive specs to its breathtaking visuals, this gaming PC is a true masterpiece. It's not just a computer, but a statement piece that showcases the passion and dedication we have for gaming.$4,399.35 -

Built my first computer when I was 13 from saved up allowances, birthdays and Christmas. As time progressed and parts became better, I upgraded piece by piece, upgrading the cpu once, the gpu a couple years later. Then in this past year, I decided to go all out so I got myself the best parts I could afford and rebuilt my old pc and adding in hardline liquid cooling. I swapped the gpu cpu and motherboard to the new am5 chip. The original harddrive from when i built my first computer is still in here and I feel really proud of how far the old thing has come.$2,185.92 -

I've always wanted to build my own tower since I was a kid so here it is. My first. It's obviously built for gaming but can also be easily utilized for other purposes. Yes I know!! I cheaped out on the motherboard... probably a future upgrade but this one is perfectly fine for now. The build itself didn't take that long, the fan/rgb hub in the case was wired incorrectly and took me way too long than it should to figure it out. LOL I GOT IT!!! Occasionally on my days off I will stream alone or with friends who may also stream. If you're interested my tag is Terror666Billy and yes I follow/support back. Not setup for video right now but will use the mic if there's some chat happening. I'm not ready to take the plastic off the glass panel yet so, sorry for the slight blur in the pictures.$2,409.92 -

I just finished this build to play games and stream on Twitch and upload VODs to Youtube. I play mostly competitive FPS games, so having a high performance PC is important as I dont want my skill or my viewers experience to be limited by my PC hardware. The only part I regret getting is my Samsung 1TB Sata SSD, I shouldve spent more and got a larger Nvme SSD like 4TB, as I am constantly uninstalling games and having to move recorded footage to my NAS to save space. Overall I am very happy with my build.$2,144.93 -

Finally got the 011d Evo case but had to change out the swiftech res/pump because itd be a bit big. but save $ on the case, pump/res combo, gpu upright, and 600mm riser cable off ebay. was a little pain and almost had an idea with the gpu cables but the 90 degree angle adapters are not the right size but would of worked. havent done OC since bios update it screwed the microcode cant do 5ghz without overheating but havent tried since this block. i have the 3080ti undervolted as it just heats 60c+ easily so its at 1665MHz at .825mV. i plan on getting different cablemod cables to fit this case a bit better and getting a cpu cable.$1,792.96
