I built this specifically to handle all video editing and gaming, as well as to have a PC that measured up to my mechanical keyboard and peripherals obsession. I play primarily single player RPGs, and also have to create a good amount of video content for work. I needed something that could handle relatively serious gaming applications as well as the most demanding scenarios Adobe has to offer, and this has been up to the task in absolutely every area. I've also recently discovered the joy that is Moonlight streaming on a hacked Switch, so now I'm able to play PC games on the go without having to purchase a Steam Deck. Next up is modifying my 3D Printer so that I'm able to stop/start/pause/monitor prints both from my PC and on the go. I continue to find new use cases for every hobby I take up, and generally the common thread is needing an adequately powerful PC to run everything. This thing overperforms every single time.$1,399.92 -

I've been wanting to free up some space on my desk but hadn't found an ITX case that I liked until MicroCenter came through with the Thermaltake Tower 100. Once I brought it home and mounted a B450I Aorus Pro motherboard inside, I moved my Ryzen 5 5600x and EVGA 3070 Ti FTW3 into this case. I also took the opportunity to upgrade my RAM to some G.Skill Trident Z Neo modules. I play Rocket League and Rainbow Six Siege online, but my best experience has come from playing AAA games in 1440p with this machine, such as Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and Watch Dogs Legion. Temperatures are generally good in this case. The CPU runs the hottest with the Corsair 120 AIO I have in it. In the future, I may swap it out for a be quiet! air cooler.$1,974.92 -

Taking into account the current marketplace and limited availability of some choice products, sometimes it can be difficult to find the perfect parts for your build. Today, Matt and Jackson put together an amazing budget gaming build for you! They chose an Intel Core i3-9100F Quad-Core CPU, ASUS B360 PRIME mATX motherboard paired with a Gigabyte RX 5500 XT Overclocked and 16GB of DDR4-3200 RAM from Crucial. The great value and performance of this build shine through in-game. Getting around 80-110 fps on mixed Normal/Medium settings in Warzone. Performance in Shadow of the Tomb Raider was equally impressive, getting an average of 60 fps on high settings. Matt makes a serious recommendation to include 16GB of RAM in your next build as it's becoming the new standard for good gaming performance. Watch their video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuyqYjAyHLE What do you think about The Toasty Bros build? With the limited availability of some parts, would you wait for parts to get back in-stock or would you buy what's available now?$551.93 -
