I started off with a 700$ budget a couple years back in 2017 and had an alright PC with a 1050ti and a ryzen 5 1600, but I gradually gained money over time and saved up and eventually got the chance to upgrade parts one by one. Here I am now. Thanks to Microcenter for the fact that they literally have literally every computer part in the store. It is exciting every time I walk into there. It is such an amazing place for "geeks" like me honestly. I hope to definitely one day be able to afford a higher end GPU and hopefully make my setup and build look even better with more lighting mainly for the GPU, but at this time I can deal with what I have. Everything seems great, I can do my school work and multitask and game fine. On top of that I can stream well with consistent frames thanks to the new NVENC, but I am pretty sure my 3900x can handle streaming just as well.$2,339.36 -

I built this PC because I was placed on full quarantine because I have diabetes. I had always wanted to build my own Gaming PC but never had the time to do it. Well, I finally got the time to do it. It started out being a PC just for gaming. (Which I play Naval Action and the Borderlands series.) I ended up using it to work from home as well. This build has been very solid and I am very proud of my work!$2,292.87 -

Find everything on sale and don’t go overboard. Find a good CPU and MOB combo deal and save some money. I used the i7-12700 and the Z690-plus wifi DDR5. Great combo. Graphics cards are harder because they are overpriced. I used the AMD Rx 6950 XT because the bang for the buck factor. It was on sale and an Nvidea equivalent would have cost hundreds more. It is a beast too. I shopped Micro Center sales. The case is very important and Fractal design is the best. SuperNova power supply is reliable. Good memory vs cheap…don’t cheap out on this! Trident Z5 is the best. Have fun and watch YouTube how to videos.$2,217.41 -

I posted my previous build before saying I would upgrade some parts, but I went ahead and replaced mostly everything. I went from a Ryzen 5 3600 to and Intel 17-12700k. This processor is freaking nuts. Micro had a bundle sale on it with a Z690 Tuf motherboard and ram. Continuing on, I went from an UpHere air cooler to the Lian Ali Galahad. This aio works wonders with this cpu, 75 degrees and high loads, 30 resting. I also went from 6600xt to a 6750xt. For 100 dollars more, it's worth every cent. It just performs so well with games in general. I average 124fps on high settings with 2k res on Hogwarts. I added 16gigs of more Ram for multitasking purposes, it also looks better with all four films filled up. Lastly, I added a mini monitor for temps and whatnot. I generally got it cause it looks cool. It does have high res tho!$1,598.88 -

This build is specifically designed for 1440p High FPS on High to Max settings. I decided that Ray-Tracing was a feature I didn't really care for or notice even when it was on. I didn't want to break the bank either. I started with absolutely nothing not even a mouse and keyboard. So that will skew the price a little higher. But if you're already equipped and just going for a new PC build this one is great! Without the monitor but including Windows license and the usb to update the bios you're looking at about $1550.00. NOTE - The motherboard, processor, and first 16GB of ram was in a bundle. The graphics card was on sale for 649 and included a 50 dollar discount when purchased with any processor. Your price may vary depending on the bundles available along with any sales going on. Honestly this may not be the highest end equipment, but spending any more will result in diminishing returns. You could get an RTX 4080 or whatever but unless your going for ray tracing we're talking about getting 10 to 20 more frames more than the 140 to 170 for AAA games for 270 to 290 for e-sports games at high/max settings than your already getting. It's just not worth it in my eyes. This, in my eyes, is just the perfect build.$1,405.93 -

Wanted something that looked cool (without RGB) and packed a punch, while using my budget as efficiently as possible. While I’m not into a lot of performance hungry games, I still wanted something that can run any game I throw at it. Right now I use it to play deep rock galactic, hell divers, risk of rain, and baulders gate 3.$1,190.92 -
