The main goal of this build was to move my clunky ATX mid tower into a smaller form factor. After searching around, I found that Microcenter had unbeatable deals on open box items. Everything went great with the build, and I'm super happy with how it turned out. After selling my old components, my net cost totals to about $90. I'm mainly playing Overwatch 2 right now.$664.91 -

I built this PC for gaming and streaming and some school work but I mostly use it for gaming and I just recently started streaming and I mostly stream shooter games and single player games, I think with the parts i have right now I don't have to upgrade much because I just recently upgraded my gpu so I think I'm good for a couple of years. I named it BriansMind because that's the name of my socials so I named it that but I hope to have amazing memories with this computer and enjoy it to the fullest. Thanks Micro Center for being right next to my house because if they weren't I wouldn't have any of this stuff but honestly Micro Center is the best store to get your PC parts because they can help you with anything and they dont have just pc parts they have everything things for consoles, laptops, etc. I suggest micro center if your ever gonna buy anything for your pc.$855.91 -

They have been asking for a gaming PC and I thought building it together from the ground up would be a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon together. For now we have no future upgrades in mind other that cable extensions for the it to look cooler and also to allow better cable management. I don't think there's anything I would have done differently other than to caution my kids that once built, the process of installing and bring the OS up to date would take som additional time. They just wanted to download games right after the BIOS screen came up!$715.43 -

I had been using a Mac Mini for the past few years and was starting to miss having a PC for a number of reasons. It was time for an upgrade. Counter Strike 2 was recently announced which reignited my interest in building a PC. I didn't want to spend a ton of money - the goal was to keep it under $1000. I was pleasantly surprised with the computer I was able to piece together! I somehow managed to spend less than I did back in 2010! This PC will serve as a casual gaming PC as well as a daily driver. In addition to casual gaming, I have a small youtube channel - https://www.youtube.com/@Franchyze923 I post videos about computers, homelab, programming tutorials and other topics. I plan on making a video about this PC build! This PC will be used to making tutorials, video editing and streaming.$742.93 -
