Needlessly buy new things just because we want them and proceed to watch YouTube instead of actually gaming. At least I didn't get a 4090 like a certain friend who literally only plays Minecraft in VR all day. In other news I do use this to play STALKER GAMMA/EFP and stream/record it on my YouTube channel (Venoxium).$1,803.94 -

I built it for casual gaming and work, so No 4090 GPU or any fancy parts. It's very budget friendly, but it still has a decent performance. It can handle most games out in the market @1080p/60FPS no problem. I also use this setup for work, so dual monitor is a must. I am even considering a third monitor.$1,559.93 -

One is a reliable system with decent performance I can use to do coursework and participate in online classes. The second "need" is, well.. gaming! The 6600 is meeting my gaming needs okay for the moment because I am playing games like Doom Eternal at 1080p resolution.$985.92 -

I use this for CAD software for use with my 3D printer, but also starting to get more into PC gaming. I have been a console gamer for a long time, but like the ability to upgrade a PC anytime to get better performance. I am looking to upgrade my old GPU in the future as I get more into PC gaming, as it was not in the budget to get one when I was upgrading other older components.$1,083.90 -

My HP OMEN laptop was starting to feel tired being put to work 40+hrs a week and additional playtime hours when the weather turns cold. This is it's successor. My gaming is typically heavily modded it until it breaks Skyrim, FFXIV, LOL, Civ VI, RDR 2, Assassin's Creed franchise and so on. Work is some light and heavy excel / sheets for and productivity is light photo / video editing at the amateur level. Priorities considered during build: 1.Performance 2.Quiet (I'm so tired of laptop coil wine and loud ramp ups) 3.Functionality 4.Value/$ 5.Aesthetics: Avoided gamery looking finished build (RGB). They're cool but not for my daily driver.$2,003.90 -

I had already planned to build this PC when the 3000 series was announced, albeit using a 3070 rather than the ti. My old build used a 2600x and a 1660ti, which was a very good price to performance pairing, but I recently got myself my first ultrawide, a 3440x1440 34" Viotek GN34BC, for an amazing deal from eBay. A pretty good upgrade over my old 24" Sceptre display. Unfortunately, my 1660ti couldn't drive it that well so I've been slowly buying parts for this build and signing up for as many GPU stock alerts as I could. I finally got an email from EVGA saying that a 3070ti was in stock, it wasn't the card I wanted (3070 XC3 Gaming) but it was in stock for MSRP. I jumped on it and it arrived only a few days later. This PC absolutely crushes any game I throw at it, easily hitting the 100hz refresh rate of my ultrawide. I also do a bit of streaming and the 5600x is a great bang for the buck streaming CPU. NVENC is amazing, with no frame drops while encoding 1080p60 5Kb/s streams. Can also push my Quest 2's full res at 120fps without breaking a sweat.$2,034.39 -

I had been using my old PC for the previous five years when I realized it was time to replace. I couldn't wait and chose to go with this build; first, I hesitated to use water cooling but decided against it since I didn't want to deal with the maintenance procedure over the long run. I've installed over 9 fans, and it runs without a hitch (I'm partially deaf, lol). Although the 3080 ti was overkill for the price, it has been performing fantastically and can pretty much handle any game without breaking a sweat. Storage-wise, this build's weakest area, I'm hoping to make additional room for 2TB because I was incredibly pressed for time. Overall, this gaming setup was obviously overkill, but I don't regret it. After using my five-year-old budget-built computer, I've been doing research on what parts I feel are worthwhile acquiring and what's good for my long-term use, assuming that I do everything on a daily basis. I multitask while gaming, streaming, and editing videos on my computer. If I had to sum up this entire construct in one sentence, I would say that it was worthwhile and I have no regrets at all.$1,982.94 -
