Moving from a maximalist Threadripper + dual GPU setup down to a tiny SFF box that has more power than the original system, the Video Toaster got its name from the original case that oddly resembled the toaster in my kitchen in size, color, shape, and of course heat output. The name is also a throwback to a much loved Amiga accessory of old, and in true form I use the rig for some video editing work!$2,914.91 -

Replaced my 3070 build with this and my main goal was to finally break into the 4k gaming scene. Also, I'm at the point in my life where I'm done with "RBG" and "GAMING" looking computers, so my secondary goal was to make a PC that blends in to its surroundings, rather than stick out. The terra seemed like a great build environment to accomplish these two things.$2,518.93 -

I built my PC in the SSUPD meshlicious due to it's small size since I need to bring my PC back and forth from my dorm room. I chise this case since it is the smallest that could fit a full size 3070 that I needed for cad and SOLIDWORKS simulation. The games I have been recently playing have been halo infinite, monster hunter rise, doom eternal, and deep rock galactic.$2,320.91 -

Build Purpose: I day trade using Thinkorswim, bookmap, and tradingview on two 1440p widescreen monitors. I also run a smaller monitor with OBS set to record the two larger ones. Thinkorswim is mostly a single core application so I wanted a processor with great single core performance. Bookmap is extremely RAM hungry so I went with 64gb to give me some headroom with everything else I'm running. I saved some money on the GPU front; bookmap does benefit from GPU acceleration but I just really needed the GPU to run 3 monitors. I've been wanting to put some of my profits to use. Building thoughts: I had to RMA my first Asrock Z790, the I/O shield was bent and a part that was screwed in had broken off the board. The 2nd one was perfect. Also, I was worried about clearing the AIO tubing around the Dominators because they're so tall, but I saw another post with the tubes routing over the RAM heatsinks and they ended up fitting well. Finally, I went with an 850W PSU just in case I want to upgrade my GPU eventually. Overall, I'm very happy with my build!$2,184.92 -

Introducing my latest creation, a build that combines power, efficiency, and aesthetics to cater to both my professional and personal computing needs. At the heart of this machine is the mighty Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core CPU, coupled with NVIDIA RTX A4000 workstation GPU, 64GB of 3200MHz RAM, all nestled mostly* inside the sleek and compact Fractal Terra Mini case. Why I Built It: As a manufacturing engineer, I work extensively with software and require a system that can effortlessly manage complex modeling in SolidWorks and render Unreal Engine graphics. Simultaneously, as a lifelong gaming enthusiast, I wanted a rig capable of delivering unparalleled gaming experiences. From my daily work routines to unwinding with the latest AAA titles, this build fits the bill. This rig has transformed my workflow, enabling faster render times, smoother gaming experiences, and overall improved efficiency. Professional Work: In my profession, time and precision are of the essence. Whether it's modeling intricate designs in SolidWorks or handling software integral to manufacturing engineering, the synergy of Ryzen 9 and NVIDIA RTX A4000 makes my work more efficient and enjoyable. Gaming: As a gamer, I wanted a system that can conquer the latest AAA titles and provide immersive gameplay. With the powerful combination of Ryzen 9 and NVIDIA RTX A4000, I've been playing games like Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, and NFS Heat at ultra-high settings without breaking a sweat. Modeling and Graphics: For my professional pursuits, this build shines in applications like SolidWorks, where precision and performance are paramount. Unreal Engine graphics projects come to life like never before, rendering in real-time and allowing me to explore my creativity in new dimensions. Future Upgrades & Hindsight: In the future, I might explore adding expanded storage capacity to accommodate larger projects. Overall, I am ecstatic with the result. Conclusion: This build is more than just a computer; it's a reflection of my professional life as a manufacturing engineer and my love for gaming and technology. It's a hub for creativity, relaxation, and connection, playing a central role in my daily life. I welcome fellow engineers, gamers, and enthusiasts to share their thoughts, insights, or simply join in the conversation. Let's connect and continue to innovate!$2,174.91 -

Some games I love playing are fast-paced FPS games like Overwatch, Apex Legends, and Valorant. It feels so good to finally be able to play at a high refresh rate after playing at 60 Hz for so long! Some future upgrades I would love to make are to add a couple more fans to improve the airflow and get 1tb or 2tb nvme ssd as a game drive.$1,519.92
