I built this because my sister had a potato dell optiplex 9020 and her internet card gave out so i was like why not use this excuse to get the benefit of the bundle deals in microcenter plus i live like 10 mins away and i built it for much cheaper than i would've if it wasnt from microcenter. She mainly games, uses it for school, draws from time to time and I was also interested in grabbing a amd graphics card and the 6700xt was super popular and so good from the statistics i have seen it just demolished the 3060 that i was at first trying to get so I just grabbed the 6700xt for such a low price and I got the i7-12700k bundle !$1,531.81 -

I chose the 5600G over the 5600X due to the small difference in performance. I wanted the integrated graphics for trouble shooting and in case I have to RMA my GPU I can still use the computer while waiting, albeit at much less graphics performance. I should still be able to game at low-mid settings near 60 FPS till the GPU comes back from the RMA. The 6600 XT will handle 1080p gaming on high setting with at least 60 FPS while streaming to Twitch, YouTube and Facebook. If the 3060's hadn't been so expensive, I may have gone that route. As it is, I already exceeded my $750 budget and couldn't go any higher. I still have a couple things to add later. I want to add another kit of RAM to get me to 32Gb. I want to add 2 more case fans and a CPU cooler for better coolong (something like a hyper 212 Evo or similar, maybe a be quiet). I know a 5600G and a 6600XT aren't really gonna push thermals very high, but if I have a better cooler and a couple more fans then each fan won't have to run as high RPM and the system will be cool AND quiet.$1,071.93 -

The culmination of a couple years of researching, budgeting and selling stuff. I finally was able to fully upgrade the PC that i bought second hand a while back. I bought most of the parts from microcenter and went there every other week just to understand more and more about building a computer. The PC people were super helpful and helped me understand what i really needed for my uses. The rest of the parts were from GameStop because i had credit from a mistake they made 300$ purchase lol. In terms of my uses for it, I use it to stream, game and to do graphic design. I do a lot of photoshop and love to make photshop animations so having 32Gbs of ram is such a huge difference compared to 16Gbs which use to make my computer crash when i made a photshop file with more than 100 frames. In terms of games i play Apex, Destiny 2, Genshin Impact, Valorant, Fortnite and lots of other narrative graphically intense games such as AC valhalla or Horizon Zero Dawn. There is not much i can say about streaming because I just started doing it and i dont feel like ive gotten to a point where im taking it to the limits, but it does exactly what its supposed to do and doesnt impact my gameplay at all. I am also able to use Cloud stream flawlessly Xbox series X in case i want to use my Apex account with all my cosmetics on Xbox when i stream. Smartkinggg on twitch btw. All and all i am really happy with the build and proud of myself for putting it together all on my own with very few hickups. Theres nothing in hindsight that i might have done different other than maybe be a bit more patient and buy everything at once. Also i dont have good places to take a picture of the build from a far so i thought i would focus on the internals and different stages of me building it. Purple is my favorite color in case you couldnt tell lol.$1,736.66 -

I built this pc for gaming and to explore a new area of technology which really opened up my world, to the point where i fell in love with it and i went to high school for computer hardware engineering, I play games like valorant, minecraft, cod, apex legends, gta roleplay, dead by daylight, and Cyber punk 2077. I plan to upgrade my cpu and psu next. I built my pc before i knew much about pcs so i would tell my past self to budget more when it comes to getting parts and olny use recommended products to be safe and get a better outcome when the build is complete. I am very proud of my build ive worked on it for about 2 years now and it looks like a whole new pc and i worked my but off to get the money for it. I have a ryzen 5 3600 and rx 6600 xt$1,594.92 -

This computer was built with the main intention to use it to play games at high FPS and high resolution. I am running a 165 hz monitor and achieve 165 fps in Destiny 2 all day long. I get around 50-60 FPS in Beam ng Drive, which is a high load soft body physics game. I am very happy with this build and Micro Center Yonkers did a great job building it.$2,789.05 -

It was the last piece missing from my man cave. I wanted a clean build but powerful at the same time. I set the build up with dual 1440p ultrawide 100hz viewsonic monitors and an extra long hdmi to my 75” Samsung tv that is connected to my surround system via arc to the marantz receiver. This setup allows me to game at my desk or kick back on the couch with a controller. I also got a oculus quest with oculus link to play beat saber and Half Life Alyx!! I chose a EVGA 2080ti FTW3 ultra Oc to power all the monitors and TVs. I have made so many trips to microcenter during the building process I have become a regular and familiar with most of the associates at the St David’s location, btw they all rock! The complete specs are below: CPU: Ryzen 3600x Cooler: wraith prism GPU: evga 2080ti ftw3 ultra Oc RAM: trident z neo 3600 cl 16, 32gb Storage: nvme pcie 4.0 1tb, nvme pcie 3.0 1tb, seagate hdd 3tb 7200 Case: NZXT h710i VR: oculus quest connected via oculus link Monitors: 2x Viewsonic xg350r-c 1440p ultrawide, Samsung 75” 4K 7series Sound system: marantz 6008 receiver, dual mono block amps for front towers. Can run all triple A games at max setting with great frames, I currently run modern warfare at all max setting 120+ fps. If I could do over one upgrade that I would have changed is the mobo. The Lian Li case is fantastic and can fit up to 9 fans.$4,506.77
