I've wanted to build a gaming PC since last August, and now I've done it. It's much better than I first planned. The primary reason for this PC is for gaming, so deciding which GPU to get is important. It's the first part I brought. I ended up with the RX 7800 XT because it's enough for the type of game I play and it was on sale. Building this PC was surprisingly easy with the help of YouTube video guides. I built this computer because for 3 years, I have been limited to playing games such as Fortnite and Minecraft on my old pc, which had an AMD Ryzen 3, Integrated graphics, and I would always have to turn down my game settings to the very lowest possible just to squeeze out 30fps. It was difficult doing even schoolwork on this computer, and one day after having to pay $300 dollars just to get an issue fixed, I decided that I was going to start saving up for a computer which would be much better than the one I currently had. I saved up all the money I could, and after almost a year of waiting I finally built it. With this new setup, I plan to play games I could have never played before, such as Rainbow Six Seige, Starfield, and more which I will discover. If I could go back, I would switch to an NZXT H6 Flow as opposed the H9, due to its similar look and the RGB version being cheaper than the H9 and coming with RGB fans. I would also switch the motherboard, since this current one only has one ARGB header, making me have to daisy chain 11 argb devices into one header. In future upgrades I plan to add some Lian-Li strimers, as they will look much better than the stock cables I have right now.$1,427.88 -

It is a gaming rig, and I play video games like Ace Combat 7, Doom Eternal, Titanfall 2, and more. I plan on upgrading the PSU and getting a case with an optical disk drive in the future. I may also upgrade the GPU and Cooler. The case is an ATX Case that I got off of amazon for 35 ish dollars. It is not very good, but for what it costs it is not bad at all. In the future, I plan to dabble in small amounts of video editing and music production as well, and maybe even use it for game development! The reason why I built this rig was because I've wanted to assemble a PC for quite a while. Technology interests me so building it after saving up from my first job for it was a fulfilling experience. Edit: I forgot to mention that I got the CPU, Motherboard, and Ram, from a microcenter bundle, so the total did not come out to how much it shows. I just entered the MSRP prices.$863.95 -

I built this PC in the midst of the GPU Shortage, with parts salvaged from a prebuilt gaming machine. There are no original parts left in the case at this point, but it all started with migrating the build from the original case to the Lian Li Lancool II for improved airflow. I'll also say that case-swapping a prebuilt is more work than building from scratch. From there, over the next two years, I would go on to upgrade the power supply, RAM, GPU, AIO cooler, and added Lian Li RGB Strimer cables for extra FPS! Just two days ago, I swapped the original motherboard and CPU for one of microcenters AMD bundles and now this thing is in its penultimate form. I plan to get rid of all of the RGB and put this born-again-and-again beast into a Fractal North XL case, as much like this PC has matured over the last few years, so have my tastes...even if it means I'll lose some FPS due to lack of RGB.$3,192.90 -

Recently, my old system with an Intel i7-4790k and a GTX 1070ti broke down. I tried for 2 days but could not get it to boot pass window start up loading screen. It's because of that and how outdated it is of a system, I decided to upgrade to a new system. I mostly just doing some lite web browsing as well as doing spreadsheet and video calling. I used to game but since my PC couldn't keep up with the new games as well as life gotten busier I stopped gaming. However, with this new machine of a beast. Every game that I tested now can do well above 100fps with games that goes to the 200fps. So hopefully I can dive back into gaming soon. I went with and Ryzen 7 5800x and ROG Strix B550 motherboard as well as an Radeon RX 7800 XT with the NZXT H6 Flow housing. I know this doesn't have much of an upgrade ability beside from going to the 5800x3d and possibly better GPU however because I want an all-white esthetic and AM4 is the cheapest to go for it.$1,499.92 -

I got into sim racing last summer playing ACC very casually on my GF's pc. As I got more into the hobby I wanted to upgrade to a triple monitor setup. This meant upgrading the PC as well and getting a monitor stand. I decided to go all in and spring for a 4090 and 7800X3D, and took advantage of microcenters bundle deal with the cpu/ram/mobo. Shortly after getting the monitor stand. I end up getting a cockpit as well. I regret purchasing the monitor stand and cockpit separately. I should have just gotten the TK P1 Pro bundle, i would have gotten an upgraded cockpit along with the keyboard tray and mouse pad for the same price . Im still very happy with my current setup. Gonna hold off on any more upgrades for the time being, even though I am a bit tempted to upgrade my wheelbase/wheel lol. Thanks to my local Microcenter for providing great customer service and having a wide selection of sim racing gear.$3,591.93 -

My highschool had a two week course where we could learn and build our own computers, we had a budget of 500$ and the choice to add extra from our own money. This is my first build and I am very happy with how it turned out. Using our budgets, I bought the 400$ bundle at Micro Center that contained, Intel Core i9 12900K, ASUS Prime Z790-V WIFI motherboard, and the G.skill Ripjaw 32 Gb 2 x 16 ram. Additionally, I got a PowerSpec PS 650GSM 650 W power supply, a DeepCool AG400, and a Seagate Laptop Thin 500 GB 7200RPM SATA 6 GB/s 32 MB Cache 2.5 Inch Hard Disk Drive. Using my own money, I bought a Inland X1 black case, two Inland TN320 NVMe M.2 storage SSD's, and a Nvidia RTX 3050. I am very thankful I took this course and I am very content with how my PC turned out, it runs most games I play at high to max graphics (I mostly play RTS such as Men of War or Total War games). The total cost of this build was roughly 800$ USD with me paying around 270$ from my own pocket.$1,122.93 -

A gaming rig built around 2016 to play the latest games at the time without worrying about poor performance. These games included MOBAs like league, FPS games like Apex Legends, and Path of Exile. I built this PC so I can edit 4K videos in Davinci Resolve. My youtube channel is RGZ Content Productions. I also started playing Apex Legends and am new to PC gaming. I was able to get the bundle with the Intel i7 12700k, MSI Pro Z690-A Wifi DDR4 motherboard, and the 16GB of ram. I upgraded the ram to the T Force Vulcan Z 64 GB(4x16GB sticks) 3200MHz CL16. I was running it with a GTX 1660 Super that I got from purchasing a refurbished Optiplex 7050. After a couple of weeks I went back to your Tustin store and was able to pick up the Zotac Gaming RTX 4060 Solo. That has tremendously cut my rendering time and made it so I can edit 4K videos now. after watching several videos from other youtubers who go to your store to build gaming pc's, Ive since added more RGB lights and got custom white PCIE cables along with 24 pin and 8 pin power cables for the motherboard.$921.60 -

Went with Micro ATX form factor and single color RGB fans for simplicity. AMD processor with AMD graphic card is a plus. Sticked to standard 16GB RAM and 1TB NVMe and didn't go crazy with specs. No case mod cables as well but still looks good with neat cable management.$845.95 -

My consulting business requires some power and my laptop was aging far too rapidly. I also downloaded Baldurs Gate 3 and when it kept crashing that was the final straw, I decided to build my own showcase instead of just building them for other people. With a budget of only $800 I built the most powerful build I could and it takes everything i've thrown at it and then some. I'd like to upgrade the processor as soon as possible and potentially take advantage of DDR5 rather than the current DDR4$892.92 -
