I wanted to have the fastest CPU on the market for competitive FPS with CS GO and Valorant. Also want to be able to play all the latest games at max settings at 1080p with high frame rates. Since I use the a 390hz IPS display at 1080p, I want to make sure I'm getting the highest frame rates achievable with the lowest possible latency. This build does exactly that.$3,067.95 -

There were multiple reasons why I went forward with building this when I did – one of them being for remote working purposes as I am a Graphic Designer full-time for a company in New York City. I would be lying to you if I said I didn’t have streaming and playing video games on the list of reasons why also! Part of me wishes I went with the EVGA RTX 2080 TI XC Ultra GPU rather than my 2080 Super but I’m not complaining. I know I’ll eventually upgrade to a dual SLI at one point or another but with that, I’ll probably need a bigger computer case and a higher wattage power supply. Also going to get another M.2 SSD for my motherboard since two are compatible. I stream a variety of games Part-Time on Facebook and love interacting with new gamers in the chat!$3,231.85 -

Pair with a super ultrawide OLED display. The purpose is for pure gaming, no work, so and manage and remove all the windows and motherboard bloatware, and the build is super smooth, quiet, cool, fast, and efficient. The AMD processor has 16 physical cores and 32 logical cores not so much for productivity, but for increased headroom and future proofing for when games begin to inevitably make better use of it in the foreseeable future. Although with 32 logical cores, some good productivity is on the table, but not recommended if using with an OLED monitor for risk of burn in due to static images. This is meant only for gaming with headroom to spare. I will admit the $300 AIO liquid cooling system is slightly indulgent, but I didn't want to risk it with expensive CPU, and there were not a lot of reliable reviews and testimonies for the cheaper coolers at the time, so it would have been a real gamble to go with one of the cheaper ones.$3,589.93 -

Upon needing a whole new rig I decided to give a shot at building it myself. Disappointed with the mid-range offerings of the Nvidia 4000 series, I decided to go big and get an RTX 4090. From there, I picked a core i9-13900K to match - which introduced the need for an AIO cooling solution. This system was built with practical gaming performance as the top priority, but with the black 5000D Airflow case and a few unavoidable RGB accents I think it looks beautiful as well.$3,727.88 -

Built my first PC for my self 3-4 years ago and always had a picture of my dream computer in the back of my head but thought it would not be possible due to a lot of the parts being limited edition and just not knowing where to find the parts but when helping my friend find parts for his computer I found the first piece of the puzzle and it started to look like my dream will come true.
