It's getting very outdated for games currently out in the market. I can barely game at low to mid settings. I had enough, so I decided to upgrade. For this new PC, I decided to try out AMD GPU. I just happen to see RX 7900 XTX on sale, so I got it. I have to say AMD GPU is pretty cost effective. It can handle all games I want without any issue. NVIDIA you better watch out. Anyway. I am very happy with this new build.$2,195.95 -

It was finally a good time to buy a grpahics card (rtx 3080) so I went with mostly upgraded components for the remaining choices. I play FPS games at a high framerate but usually just at 1440p. As a result, I didn't need a large amount of vram often required for higher resolutions.$1,469.92 -

Coming from an i5 2500k and GTX 970, this PC is meant to run all the latest games that were previously not possible on a 4k LG OLED or high refresh rate 1440p monitor. The 7900 XTX felt like the best price/performance option for this compared to the others in the 800$ and up category. The CPU/MB/RAM bundle Micro Center offered made more sense than waiting for the Ryzen X3D processors.$2,172.15 -

Coming from a mid range computer that was build when I was still new to the whole building process, this was a big leap for me. Since STALKER 2 was officially "re-announced", I decided I needed to build a beast of a computer, since I wanted to experience the best looking and best performing version of this long overdue game from my favorite game franchise. Beyond that, I've been playing my other favorites like Borderlands, DayZ, and a heavy modded Fallout without a hitch. Peripherals are A Steelseries Apex Pro full, Steelseries Aerox 9, and Sennheiser X DROP PC38X. Monitor is an AOC 27" 2K with 144Hz refresh and 1ms response. I installed 2 front A-14s, and they can get loud. However, I have curved them so they can still push more air than the 2 NF-A12 exhausts while still keeping things cool. Of course, on the rare chance it gets too toasty, then the noise is a compromise I'll have to make. One more note, I used an old android phone as a resource monitor to top it all off.$3,585.50 -

I use this for CAD software for use with my 3D printer, but also starting to get more into PC gaming. I have been a console gamer for a long time, but like the ability to upgrade a PC anytime to get better performance. I am looking to upgrade my old GPU in the future as I get more into PC gaming, as it was not in the budget to get one when I was upgrading other older components.$1,083.90 -
