Introducing my latest creation, a build that combines power, efficiency, and aesthetics to cater to both my professional and... Introducing my latest creation, a build that combines power, efficiency, and aesthetics to cater to both my professional and personal computing needs. At the heart of this machine is the mighty Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core CPU, coupled with NVIDIA RTX A4000 workstation GPU, 64GB of 3200MHz RAM, all nestled mostly* inside the sleek and compact Fractal Terra Mini case. Why I Built It: As a manufacturing engineer, I work extensively with software and require a system that can effortlessly manage complex modeling in SolidWorks and render Unreal Engine graphics. Simultaneously, as a lifelong gaming enthusiast, I wanted a rig capable of delivering unparalleled gaming experiences. From my daily work routines to unwinding with the latest AAA titles, this build fits the bill. This rig has transformed my workflow, enabling faster render times, smoother gaming experiences, and overall improved efficiency. Professional Work: In my profession, time and precision are of the essence. Whether it's modeling intricate designs in SolidWorks or handling software integral to manufacturing engineering, the synergy of Ryzen 9 and NVIDIA RTX A4000 makes my work more efficient and enjoyable. Gaming: As a gamer, I wanted a system that can conquer the latest AAA titles and provide immersive gameplay. With the powerful combination of Ryzen 9 and NVIDIA RTX A4000, I've been playing games like Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, and NFS Heat at ultra-high settings without breaking a sweat. Modeling and Graphics: For my professional pursuits, this build shines in applications like SolidWorks, where precision and performance are paramount. Unreal Engine graphics projects come to life like never before, rendering in real-time and allowing me to explore my creativity in new dimensions. Future Upgrades & Hindsight: In the future, I might explore adding expanded storage capacity to accommodate larger projects. Overall, I am ecstatic with the result. Conclusion: This build is more than just a computer; it's a reflection of my professional life as a manufacturing engineer and my love for gaming and technology. It's a hub for creativity, relaxation, and connection, playing a central role in my daily life. I welcome fellow engineers, gamers, and enthusiasts to share their thoughts, insights, or simply join in the conversation. Let's connect and continue to innovate!$2,174.91 -

Built a new gaming/encoding/media PC rig to replace my aging 8700k/GTX 1660 rig. Went AMD this time - AMD R9 7900X CPU, AMD RX 6950 TX GPU, 64 GB DDR5 6000 Ram, 3 2TB PCI4 4x4 M2 SSD's (OS and APPS, Games, and encoding), ASUS X670-P PRIME WIFI AMD AM5 ATX Motherboard. 2 Additional PCIE USB 3.2 cards (I need LOTS of USB ports for peripherals and the 8 USB3 media storage drives - 125TB total and growing), 750w full modular PS, be quiet SHADOW ROCK TF CPU Cooler, low noise SHADOW ROCK case fans. Stuffed it all in a Silverstone Media PC case. Small compromises were made. Could not fit a liquid cooler so had to go with high efficiency air cooler (be quiet SHADOW ROCK TF) and extra low noise SHADOW ROCK case fans. Originally picked up an RX 7900 TX GPU but it too would not fit the case, so had to fall back to the RX 6950 TX Reference model (2" shorter). Everything fits pretty tight but the Silverstone case is really shitty for cable management, but it all worked out.$1,810.92 -

This build technically started back in 2016 as there are still some leftover parts from my first PC, as time went on I just continued to add more parts and recycle old ones where I can. There is some insane value in this PC as I virtually have little to zero dollars in it since I would upgrade and sell my old parts for more than what I paid originally over the years. Its a more than a decent gaming rig, but these days as I have no time anymore, it has become a fancy facebook/email checker and a YouTube machine for my toddler.$1,877.90 -

I was once an avid gamer and as games got better my PC just couldn't handle them. I have been using a low-tier laptop since 2016 and even that struggled with older games, let alone newer ones. As a personal trainer I would love to be able to make make videos and host live streaming content for my clients or those interested in making a change to their fitness/health habits, but my setup just doesn't have the ability to do so. With this new rig I hope to be able to be able to reach a new group of clients and help them to appreciate fitness and how it can change their lives for the better. This (as well as the included picture) is of the current old PC. I am hoping with the holiday deals and this coupon that the new PC (Parts list) will be on the way shortly. Money is always tight so I will be reusing some components from the old PC. Namely the case, GPU, and SSD.....for now. Bought and built this to primarily play games and to finally have a machine that can handle all current gen title games at 1080p. Games like Apex Legends and Halo Infinite all hold a framerate well above 144hz at the highest graphic settings with no problems as well as keeping cool. This computer also allowed me to be able to record my gameplay in high quality using OBS thanks to NVIDIA'S nvenc encoder in part to the 3060 RTX. Video editing programs such as adobe premiere also run well to edit footage together to create youtube compilations of the many games I play. Eventually upgraded the storage on the computer with SSD drives which was easy due to the microATX motherboard being in a ATX size case for ease of building as well as the case having drivebays on the back panel of the computer.$1,137.92 -

I waited to upgrade the GFX card unit the 3000 series, but could get a 3080, so I camped out at a Micro Center for a full 22 hours to get a 3070. I originally built this PC for serious gaming and streaming. I tried my best to get a good balance of price-to-performance, aesthetic, and maybe a bit of brand loyalty. In hindsight I should have done things a little bit differently. I had to make quite a few compromises when it came to the GPU shortage at the time of when I was building. I ended up buying my 3070Ti at Microcenter which at the time was the only graphics card that was available. so that ate up most of my budget. I would have gone with smaller Ram as the Corsair Vengeance RGB Ram that I have currently in the system is a little too tall to mount an AIO cooler. This is also due to the CORSAIR - iCUE 220T RGB case. The case was not my first choice but it was aesthetically pleasing, it was cheaper, and most importantly available. I currently have a 5600x in the system and I am so glad I have chosen that platform. I've had no issues with it and it's been a great budget price performance CPU.$1,844.91 -

I've always wanted a completely overkill build for what I do, so once I got my hands on everything that's exactly what I did. I use this to play Dead Island, Ghostwire Tokyo, Guilty Gear Strive, Elden Ring, 7 days to die, For Honor, Muck, Monster Hunter World, Deep Rock Galactic, Sea of Thieves, and some emulators. What would I have done differently? I think what I should've done differently is kept all my old parts instead of selling them to make a whole other build. I swap between a Sapphire 6800xt, and the ASUS x Noctua 3080 depending on what I'm playing. Having 14 Thermaltake Riing Quad fans in this almost cost me as much as the case itself, and I probably should've gotten a bit cheaper fans but oh well. But right now I am happy with what I have, it's not the best in cable management, nor is it the heaviest hitter in the rest of the showcase, but it does everything I need it to.$3,184.89 -

A complete beast of a PC that I have spent 1.3k on- The Pros: - Runs fast and has DLSS 2.0 Compatibility - Quiet, barely makes a sound - Has easily swapable parts that help with upgrades and the like. The Cons: - Silicon is Expensive :D - No Heatsink on I/O for MoBo, and only one heatsink for 2nd NVME Slot (No surprise there) - Will have to upgrade in 5 years or so What is it used for? - Content Creation, more specifically 1080p Video Editing and the like - Gaming, and lots of it thanks to the graphics it can pull off - Just messing around and whatever I need it to do. The Core i5 pulls it's weight by the ton, I've never used something this fast before. Advice- I actually got my Monitor from Costco, it's only 199.99 and runs like a dream. Also, be careful with the case screws, if you don't get them right the first time putting in your GPU will be a nightmare. Also, for GPUs, if you intend on getting an EVGA brand one look for their B-stock, it often eliminates anywhere from 30-100 dollars off their cards ;) Overall, happy with my first build and would 10/10 Recommend$1,041.91 -
