Honestly I hadn’t really thought of a name so I apologize if it’s a little weird. It was the only think I could think of (pronounced Hell-eh-nuh). On this rig I’ve mostly been playing Black Ops Cold War, Modern Warfare 3, VALORANT, and some VR titles like BONEWORKS, soon its sequel BONELAB, H3VR, and tons more. At the time of this submission, I actually just upgraded my GPU from a GTX 1070 to an RTX 3070 for only $230 on the used market. It was originally $330 but because I sold the 1070 off for $100, that brung the net price down to $230 for an amazing graphics card. I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase! My next upgrade is absolutely going to be my CPU. I currently have an R5 3600 from AMD that I’ve been using for 2 and a half years now, since 2020. I love this CPU to death but now that I’ve actually got some muscle underneath the hood, it’s been holding me back in eSports titles since the GPU is not being utilized enough, hence causing a bottleneck that has been giving me stutters. In any other game where the GPU is utilized more than the CPU though, it’s perfectly fine, I just play a lot of eSports titles so it’s pretty jarring at times. I can smooth that out by capping my frame rate but cmon, that’s no fun! I wanna see them juicy frames! If I had to name one thing I wish I’d done differently with this build was that I should have gotten the H510 flow case instead of the standard one. I wanted the H510 so much to the point that I didn’t even realize that there was a better version of the case until I had already put everything together. So that’s a bummer. Speaking of which, I’m actually new here! I was watching a Basically homeless video and saw this in the description so I thought I would try it out as well as signing up for that CPU coupon. Despite living in California for 4 years, even though I’ve always known micro center, I’ve never had the chance to go… maybe I’ll go on my birthday? … that’s actually a perfect idea. I’m going to do that.$1,315.92 -

I discovered a damaged Digital Storm computer, which I gently upgraded over the course of a few weeks. I had to buy a new one when testing revealed that the motherboard had a dead RAM slot. On Facebook, I came across the ideal one and grabbed it. Place an eBay bid for the aio and power supply. purchased the case and two new sticks of ram from Amazon. Had a used 2070 lying around that I basically acquired for free but listed for 150 dollars. I sold this for $1100 and threw in a slightly modified Redragon keyboard that he really loved. It's a powerful computer. played numerous games with high requirements at 60 frames per second or higher. The case and fans were beautiful to look at as well. The front should be mesh, though.$1,512.94 -

It was the first major upgrade I had since the original one I built back in 2010. It was built with Cyberpunk 2077 in mind and allowed me to play that at a level of fidelity I was pleased with. This was a build that me and my brother did together and with the release of Ark 2 next year, we wanted a pc that would be able to run it. Also, we never had a gaming pc, so this is our first one and we thought we’d get a fairly high end pc to make it worth the while. Another reason my and my brother built this PC was because I wanted to get better at 3d modeling and animation in blender. Before building the computer, I was working on an intel I5 MacBook and it was cutting it, so I was really excited to get a computer to learn more things. I’m also thinking of doing YouTube on the PC and start a gaming channel, and maybe try a bit of streaming at some point. As of now, our build has been completed for about two weeks and it runs at good temperatures and it’s powerful. The games we have so far are mostly free games like valorant and rocket league, but we also have minecraft and Green Hell, but we’re thinking of getting Inside The Backrooms and Valheim.$1,660.87 -

I'm a competitive FPS player and the 5800X was the sweet spot for a workstation + gaming PC. I do coding and do stream/record aside from gaming so having that extra CPU power helps. I wanted something to replace my aging laptop now that I am out of school, and as a lifelong console gamer I have always been tempted by playing games on pc. So far I have been mostly playing valorant and halo with friends. I have not had any issues so far, and wow I must say that this is a very noticeable upgrade over the gaming consoles I have become accustomed to in the past. I really enjoyed the build process, and I look forward to upgrading and building new systems in the future. Currently, the only upgrade I am considering is maybe adding a 2tb m2 drive. I would also probably upgrade the 2 front case fans to lian li al140 fans if those ever come out. And finally, I may also consider changing out the cpu/mb/ram for the amd platform later this year.$2,599.85 -
