I made this build to get back into 3d animation, which is something I haven't been able to do for a long time due to the lack of decent computer. What spurred on the build was winning the i9-10900K from Intel and LMG for their LTX Gold Sample giveaway. I have been slowly re learning 3d animation with it but also enjoy some gaming, I mainly play Gears 5, but also Minecraft, and Rise of the Tomb Raider. I do plan to double the RAM and I wish I would have looked into the cooler a little more, the 240R is a little small for my i9-10900K, the temps are fine when left stock but I would like to overclock it and as soon as I do the temps go through the roof and I thermal throttle almost instantly. I was lucky enough to be able to get a 3070 right before the prices became unbelievably high but if the market were normal at the time I would have liked to get either a 3080 or ideally a 3090 since more VRAM is king with 3d applications, but over all I'm not going to complain since at least I was able to get a decent GPU at a decent price. One other thing I would have also done differently had I have known more before hand was I would have gotten an ASUS motherboard specifically for the RGB software it uses, Gigabytes RGB software is VERY limiting and overall feels like they don't really care to make it great, whereas from what I've seen about the ASUS one there are a lot more and better options. I would like to also get the same fans for everywhere because the colours are different enough between the 2 different types of fans I'm using.$2,298.93 -

I built my PC originally for Destiny 2 and have since upgraded it for better 1440p high refresh rate gaming. Currently, my primary games have been Genshin Impact, Destiny 2, and the New World Closed Beta. As amazing as the Noctua NH-D15S is, I do want to replace it with a 360 AIO in order to truely vertically mount the GPU. Right now, the 3070 is vertically mounted at an angle under the heatsink as it's the only way it'd fit.$2,127.89 -

The power to drive a high refresh 1440p monitor in competitive FPS games like Apex Legends, or a more cinematic experience in Cyberpunk or AC Valhalla while maintaining a sleek appearance that goes with the room. Doesn’t dominate the small bedroom unlike an ATX setup while maintaining performance with (surprisingly) impressive thermals for itx.$1,732.95 -

Iv been a long time AMD fan( go team red) but this build, I wanted to try something a bit different. It plays games incredible smooth with very low temps. I am thrilled with rtx and my amd 5600x cpu. Some of the games I play include: Metro, Skyrim (heavy mods), Rainbow Six with the boiz of course. I play with a 1080p 240hz monitor also from the one and only, Microcenter.$1,710.92 -

Low storage because I have a NAS already with 40+ tb of storage. Like the title suggests this is the first gaming PC that I have put together in 15 years. My last one for comparison had an 8600GT, 500GB of HDD storage and 2gb of ram. I have put together hobbyist machines before this recently, but those are usually Frankenstein builds and/or servers for various reasons. So the parts for this were selected with the help of the NewEgg and LTT communities on discord. Both provided good insight for options I should consider. The cooler and PSU in particular were parts that I would never had considered, but are absolutely perfect for my needs.$1,779.85 -
