With 4k not being too relevant just yet, this was an affordable option without giving up too much performance, but still look good and perform well! Overkill 980 Pro for Boot and 2TB Evo for everything else! Will probably upgrade to 7800x3D and 7800XT/ GRE sometime this year when the sales roll around!$2,057.96 -

It's the first pc/console or large purchase that I've been able to buy using my own money, instead of my parents. Mainly used for gaming and media consumption. I play a lot of fps games (The Finals, Halo Infinite, Warzone, COD mp), some madden, and AAA story games.$2,434.92 -

It's mainly built for gaming but light workloads too as I do work from home sometimes. My GF does art and makes stickers and plan on adding a lot of these as the time comes (also have ideas in mind for a distro block and custom loops). This is built with the Gamdias Neso P1 case, I wanted something that was a bit different as this does flip to its side for what is basically the coolest toaster oven ever. As far as games, I play a lot of OW, Halo, Sea of Thieves, and many of the great single player games that are out there (Cyberpunk, FFXV, Starfield ect). Not entirely done but the system is up and running, and it's FAST! RTX GIGABYTE 4080 Eagle with the Ryzen 7700x make for an excellent pair, combined with PBO and modest OC on the GPU, it has toppled everything I've thrown at it. Case is great, plenty of space for even the largest card and tooless entry makes it a breeze to build in. Excited to see where this all takes me!$2,384.94 -

I was a PC player since I was a child and I gave a shot to console but I could not get comfortable with controller so I came back to PC. I am a shooter and RTS games. Of course most of them are in PC. So I decided to build one from zero with a CPU and Motherboard deal from Microcenter. Now here is my baby.$1,752.91 -

Things just kept falling into place! The mobo was 100 the cpu was 100 the GPU was 720 from a microcenter return during the GPU craziness and I just couldn’t pass that up. I love playing Tarkov, Valorant, cyberpunk, kingdom come, elden ring, and the list goes on. Also overclocking is such a fun thing to do with 3dmark. Computers are fun…sometimes!$1,501.00
