This PC began life in 2017 in a cheap mATX case as a budget gaming rig - 256gb SATA SSD, 1st gen Ryzen 3, GTX 1050 ti - I basically just wanted to build an entry level gaming PC because I finally had the time for it. Since then it's gone through multiple renovations - first, to a 1660 ti, then a 1070 ti and a larger case to fit the thing in. I also added a ryzen 3 3100 followed by a ryzen 5 3600 which I have now. I added the Noctua redux NH-U12S because the wraith prism I used to have got NOISY with the newest CPU and I found a sweet deal on it new but opened. Then, the most recent updates: This summer I (finally) got my hands on that sweet EVGA 3060 ti FTW3 GPU. The 1070 ti did admirably but this was a substantial leap forward and I went for it - super glad I did. I also recently migrated my OS drive from that original SATA SSD to a new Crucial P5 NVMe. What do I do with this no frills PC? Well, I recently returned to my education so first and foremost, schoolwork. I get all the FPS in microsoft office. All of the FPS. When I do get free time, I do some gaming. Lately it's been a replay of the Witcher 3 and Project Wingman, still looking for the next game on my list.$1,191.95 -

I built this gaming pc not only to game but also stream with ease while staying under $1300. I used the B550 Plus AM4 Motherboard for future upgradeability for the CPU and/or GPU, as well as RAM. The only thing I would recommend changing if you decide to use this build as a template, is to use a more powerful power supply. I recommend a 800W PowerSpec. I only purchased this EVGA power supply specifically because of the price to value and to stay within my budget.$1,196.86 -

I built this because I am a gamer, I hope to start posting on my channel again, and ive been using a laptop with an i3 8145u ever since I started gaming. I've been wanting to get off my laptop so badly because it can't run basically anything. It barely ran Minecraft at 30 fps. The games I play are Minecraft, Fortnite, and Valorant. I know I didn't need the system that I got in order to run these games but sometimes you gotta go big or go home.$1,200.89 -

I was using a fairly aging build that was mostly 8 years old when I built this machine in 2019. I use it for graphic design work and gaming. I don't play many heavy titles lately. This is a 1080p machine and I use ray tracing a bit where possible. Since building in 2019, I've swapped in a new GPU twice, a new CPU twice, and just upgraded the RAM from 16GB to 32GB after I found a good deal on a 32GB kit. Grand total it was about $1100 of parts in 2019 and about $1400 of parts after the upgrades. I do wish I had gotten a better case. It is probably the only thing left I would change on this build before building a new one.$1,208.99 -

Build this rig in late 2019 to replace my 2nd gen Intel rig I built years ago for Diablo 3. Wanted to give AMD CPU a try after hearing so many great reviews about the 3000 series and I mainly play CPU-intensive games. Upgraded from GTX 1070 to RTX 3060ti a few months ago. Looking to upgrade CPU to 5800X soon.$1,225.92 -

It’s purpose is for me to use casually and competitively within my college esports team, but mainly not be held back by the requirements on games as I have in the past. I recently upgraded from a lenovo yoga laptop that had to get its mobo replaced due to the amount of stress on the computer from me running games without a gpu. In the future, I hope to use it for content creating, such as personal career and streaming. In addition, upgrade the case to something newer to allow better airflow and fans.$1,225.93
