Instead of trying to figure out what parts needed to be replaced, I thought it was a good time to just build an entire new PC from scratch. I built this mainly for gaming as I use a Macbook Pro for work and other day to day tasks. Given that this was my first build and I wasn't too confident, I did not want to spend a whole lot and just opted for the best bang for the buck I could get. So far it's been a beast and I plan on adding some Noctua fans in the future to quiet it down a bit and improve airflow.$1,359.92 -

This was my very first gaming computer I ever had, assembled from leftover components and an old case from a prebuilt computer. Starting with the classics like Minecraft and CSGO, to more intensive games like Fortnite (i know, real intensive) and BeamNG.drive. It was with this device that I survived quarantine and managed to grow closer to my friends over discord. I'm submitting this form to help pay for my first solo PC build, which will replace this six-year old machine. I'm proud of what it's been capable of, and I'm hopeful someone will find the same joy in it once I pass it on.$479.93 -

My highschool had a two week course where we could learn and build our own computers, we had a budget of 500$ and the choice to add extra from our own money. This is my first build and I am very happy with how it turned out. Using our budgets, I bought the 400$ bundle at Micro Center that contained, Intel Core i9 12900K, ASUS Prime Z790-V WIFI motherboard, and the G.skill Ripjaw 32 Gb 2 x 16 ram. Additionally, I got a PowerSpec PS 650GSM 650 W power supply, a DeepCool AG400, and a Seagate Laptop Thin 500 GB 7200RPM SATA 6 GB/s 32 MB Cache 2.5 Inch Hard Disk Drive. Using my own money, I bought a Inland X1 black case, two Inland TN320 NVMe M.2 storage SSD's, and a Nvidia RTX 3050. I am very thankful I took this course and I am very content with how my PC turned out, it runs most games I play at high to max graphics (I mostly play RTS such as Men of War or Total War games). The total cost of this build was roughly 800$ USD with me paying around 270$ from my own pocket.$1,122.93 -

After spending weeks coming up with a list of PC components, waiting anxiously for them to go on sale, and getting them delivered to your door, it’s time. You’ve got a phillips head screwdriver in hand, and you’re ready to go. For the purposes of my home PC building guide, I’ve used the following low end parts as an example of how to build a complete computer. These components are also exactly what you need to construct an modest – if a little last generation – Budget Home PC.$600.92 -

It plays everything I ran on it perfectly, but it does kinda heats up to around 80 degrees while under load because I am only using a stock CPU cooler from AMD. I just purchased a AIO CPU water-cooler. Hopefully it will alleviate this heating issue. Other than that, I don't have any issue with it. The FPS is great. It constantly hits 100FPS for most games at 2k resolution/high graphic setting. When I turn the graphic setting down to mid, it would hit 200+FPS.$1,575.95 -

Built because old system would not take Windows 11 and the graphics card was not sufficient for Bethesda's upcoming title Starfield. The case is large enough to take my DVD player and to "hide" most of the drives "under" the motherboard. With four fans (3 intake and 1 exhaust) it has plenty of cooling for the CPU and Graphics card. Moterboard WiFi antenna included has two "micro" coax connectors and cable is too short for good under-desk placement of tower. Top has the on-off button, color mode button, audio ports and 2 USB 3 type A ports. Top ports are USB 3.0 but inside is not blue. Gray on black writing is not a favorite due to lack of contrast.$1,124.94 -

This build is intended for gaming, and it does it with ease. Things I needed to do: I needed to use a longer screwdriver to install the CPU cooler, as the one that came with it was not enough for me, update BIOS so the CPU would work, and adjust the memory speed. I did notice that the SSD was not showing up on the BIOS, however when installing Win everything was fine.$1,504.91 -
