Meant to be a gaming rig/workstation to serve as a replacement for my old college laptop as I go off into the world. So far, I'm catching up on older titles I've been missing out on (Tomb Raider, Dark Souls, Doom, etc.), but I'm hoping to be able to run newer games like HZD and GotG without much trouble. Should be a perfect size though as I'll be moving around the country quite a bit.$930.82 -

I always dreamed of getting a gaming pc when I was little and I finally acheived my dream! I'd love to play Call of Duty and console and now I can game on pc with higher fps and way more settings tweak for my controller. I am proud of my build. It started off as a prebuilt and made its way up to a beast rig. Upgraded all the parts except the case, thats my next big upgrade.$1,204.95 -

An aesthetic-focused mid range gaming rig with room to grow and upgrade, designed for my wife. Definitely not winning any awards for the price-to-performance ratio, but I intentionally specced around some components (like the white, way more wattage than needed power supply and 32 GB of RGB RAM) based around looks and not needing to be upgraded later, with other components (like the RX 6600) being obvious targets for future upgrades. If anyone wanted to emulate this build while still going somewhat aesthetically pleasing, I'd go with the black version of the case, no RGB RAM (and also only 16 GB), get a single normal fan for rear exhaust instead of the RGB 3 pack, different power supply, no wifi card (if you don't need it, we did), and just use the stock heat sink for the 5600. With those changes, this would be a killer bang-for-buck build. As it is, I fully accept the higher cost in exchange for better looks and great accessories.$1,223.86 -

It's a perfect price for what i play (especially league/valorant/overwatch 2/csGO). However, i want to play AAA games but the gpu is kind of weak. I was skeptical I could get the 6950XT in the 205m without it overheating - however, utilizing the Quiet mode on board bios setting, with max of 284w to GPU… my temps are insanely stable and even cool (for this card). 98% stress test on 3D Mark & max juncture temp of 93 Celsius during this test (80c high cur). During gaming it doesn’t touch this temp. It stays around 60c while gaming on ultra/maxed settings. Idle is 33c. Just a build I wanted to see if I could do & feel great that it’s complete without issues. Have been building Pc's for 20 years - first one I've built for myself in 10.$1,469.92 -

But I picked something cringe-y, "The Passifier" because it is intended to keep peace between my two nephews who have started to fight over the entry-level gaming desktop I had previously built for them. And so here we are, now a second entry-level gaming desktop. Right now the oldest is obsessed with playing Vampire Survivors. So high or even mid level gaming hardware was not needed at this point. The main goal of this build was to move my clunky ATX mid tower into a smaller form factor. After searching around, I found that Microcenter had unbeatable deals on open box items. First of all, this is the first pc I've attempted to build in maybe 12-15 years. Technology is very different now. So I'm basically calling myself a beginner. This was a gaming pc that was built for my family to use both for gaming and everyday use. Almost every part was from microcenter with the exception of the CPU cooler. I play games such as Rocket League on this and my sister uses this for games such as Sims. I may eventually start overclocking this build as the thermals are great at current usage but I have not done any overclocking yet because i am able to get overkill FPS for the old 60Hz monitor I currently have. I don't have any current plans for upgrades and to be honest I don't think I would have changed too much if I could do it again. These parts were very good for my budget and I am very happy with how the build turned out overall.$688.82 -
