  the main reason i built this is because i wanted to try out the amd ryzen 3D versions of processors. ive been hearing and... the main reason i built this is because i wanted to try out the amd ryzen 3D versions of processors. ive been hearing and reading amazing things about their gaming performance due to the amount of cache in the cpu architecture. after i selected the 7800x3d processor, the rest of the build mainly took shape around things I could get a nice price on at microcenter. one disadvantage of choosing the 7800x3d, if it isn't already obvious, is that i needed to factor the cost of an air cooler into my overall build budget because this particular line of processor doesnt include an air cooler in the box. i know i got an air cooler when i purchased a ryzen 9 series chip during ryzen 3rd gen, so this is a step down in value from amd in my book.
