This bill is essentially me future proofing my system with one of the most powerful chip set on the market as well as GPU. Hopefully this build will last me a while I don’t see myself upgrading unless it’s to an AM five motherboard. If that is the case I will upgrade to a 7800 X 3-D and move my 5800 X 3-D into my mini system.$2,224.91 -

Since then, I've upgraded the CPU to a 3600 and the GPU to an RTX 3060 Ti. Much of the reason why I call this the "Overkill" is because I really don't play very demanding games, usually only esports titles with an occasional demanding title like PUBG.$1,021.90 -

I put it together to be a gaming PC and maybe use it for CAD work in the future. Everything in the build went very well. And I can't believe how much better my games are now. The temperatures are good and everything seems to run fine. My only hiccup was that the USB-C on the front I/O requires an adapter to connect to this motherboard. Not a huge deal but if I had known, I probably would have spent a bit more money on a fully compatible motherboard. Overall I'm super happy with how everything turned out. I did add a few extra parts not listed. Including the Corsair Commander Core XT, Corsair Lighting Node Pro, Asiahorse Power Cords, a QIVNSRY M.2 heatsink, and the internal header adapter for the USB-C.$1,547.91 -

I built this to finally be able to play whatever I want without worrying about not being able to run it. I play FPS games like Valorant and MW2019 and single-player games like cb2077, GOW, and Spider-Man. In the future, I hope to upgrade to maybe a 3070Ti or 3080 to have a 144hz 1440p experience. For some real overkill I'd like to get a 5800x3D as well.$1,829.88 -
